  1. Outside of Diggs, we always go into every season with Josh and a bunch of crap. Nothing new.
  2. 100% this. Let’s continue being the team with a franchise QB that doesn’t give him weapons. This roster SUCKS outside of Josh. Josh is THE ONLY elite guy on the team. Let that sink in. Wasting a pick on a DE who won’t pan out is a disaster waiting to happen. Even if they kind of hit on a DE, that’s not going to fix all the holes we have. Just invest in josh and try to win that way.
  3. There are a lot of dumb GMs. Lynch tends to fleece teams left and right (see getting a 4th for Trey Lance.. a 4th!). Guarantee he makes great moves this draft.
  4. This x a million. I have no faith in McDermott so what you stated is a sad truth
  5. Glad you’re optimistic. Depth wasn’t needed last year but it was great to have jt when needed. I for one am not looking forward to a few injuries leading to Josh running for his life.
  6. Why change the o line at all? It worked last year for once. You think oft-injured Collins or old Edwards is going to hold the left side? And we were healthy last year which won’t happen again. Add in trading a versatile bates, and I’m not seeing what there is to be positive about. No depth at all.
  7. My biggest issue isn’t even the Diggs trade. I’m more angry about Beane nuking the best OL he’s given Josh since he got here. Tired of Josh having to run for his life and not having weapons. This year we get both.
  8. Thought this thread was a joke until I opened it. The bills weren’t winning the Super Bowl with Diggs let alone with no #1 WR. Come on, I love the bills but beyond Josh Allen we don’t have 1 elite guy on this roster. Not 1. This team isn’t going anywhere with McDermott anyways. Incredible how poorly managed the roster is when you’ve got a top 2 QB in the league.
  9. He’s a number 1 for sure. Dude is incredible. Projecting how he fits into our office is tough though coming from the much better Shanahan scheme where everyone is open every single play. But I’d give up a 1st for him now and not think twice. Tired of Josh not having weapons to work with.
  10. He also has Bobby Slowek calling the plays and running the Shanahan system where guys are Constantly WIDE TF OPEN, which can’t be understated. On the flip side, Josh is asked to play backyard football just making stuff up as he goes since no one is ever schemed open.
  11. This is where I’m at too. This is a GM that knows his roster isn’t good enough to win a SB and needs to rebuild. And that’s pathetic when you have a top 5 QB. But that’s where we are when you blow draft picks on guys that aren’t good enough and don’t get your qb legit weapons. The fact that they got rid of Morse is what upset me the most. Our o line has sucked forever and then you switch it up? You’re just creating more holes in an already thin roster. I’m good with trading Diggs. The guy no showed every playoff game. He was a ghost in every single elimination game. But now you have to trust beane to do the right thing instead of doing what I think he’ll do and grab a DL or CB with our first rounder.
  12. All nice contributors but no one elite. We have one elite guy on the roster. Gotta start hitting on a few more.
  13. Haha this. He’s the only thing keeping us from drafting top 10. This roster really has no one elite other than him.
  14. Eagles were the worst I’ve seen in a long time in terms of their LBs and CBs. No reason not to celebrate when any of them are leaving. We would be celebrating too if we were them.
  15. Losing Morse sucks and angered me. Finally have a good o line and we gut it for no reason.
  16. True. They gave up peanuts for the best weapon in football besides tyreek hill because they know they’re getting comp picks back later on. They fleece poorly run franchises like the cowboys for guys like Trey Lance and the redskins for the best LT in football. Now they get young and cheap at certain spots this year and also can make big moves in free agency. And they can afford to pay their HOF talent at many spots as well.
  17. This. I catch ***** for repeating on here how great the 49ers front office is. No one is close. I’m not saying they only hire minority coordinators just to get them hired elsewhere for comp picks.. but I’m also not saying they don’t do that. They have the best roster in football and they’re LOADED with picks. Don’t forget them fleecing Dallas by getting a 4th rounder for Trey Lance, a guy who will never take a snap for them outside of a Dak injury. O line help, another CB and a DL opposite Bosa is all they need and they’ve got lots of chances in this draft to hit on those spots plus trade up if they want. Not to mention they always make big moves in free agency so I fully expect them to make a big move here before the draft too. There’s a reason they are the favorites to win it all again next season too.
  18. This x1,000. Add in Jalen Hurts simply dropping the ball and it bouncing straight up to Bolton for him to run it in during the other SB. They also had horrible OTs that led the league in penalties all year only to not ever get called for holding in the playoffs and especially the SB when they were holding Bosa all night. Things that would sink the other 31 teams don’t bite them and they get every bounce. Not every move they make is perfect. The Ravens and 49ers have better rosters. The chiefs roster is better than ours though.
  19. All he did was throw to a wide open guy and people think he’s great lol
  20. I said earlier the Niners luck would win the game. You’re seeing it now
  21. Not saying I’m going to run a victory lap after this win, but there are a few of you that I’m calling out for saying I was dumb for picking the Niners to win it all along lol
