Their families are close. The injuries were overblown. He shut it down early on some bad panthers teams. The Niners knew what they were getting and essentially traded for the best weapon in football for pennies on the dollar.

Bad news is we’ve been awful on the road this year. If we can block the eagles d line enough to give josh a chance, the eagles LBs and secondary are subpar and we absolutely can move the ball. Their corners and safeties get roasted on a weekly basis. On the other side of the ball, they’re so physical they’ll be able to run at will on us but to me it’s all about not giving up the big play to brown and smith. Hurts has been sketchy as a pocket passer all year. Keep them in 3rd and 4-7 all game and you have a chance. If we put up points, we can get them out of their run game and force hurts to beat us. They are. Their defense has been making it work all year despite injuries and overall lack of talent/depth. They’re not that great overall though.
