Deshaun Watson to Browns - $230 million guaranteed
Sestak4ever replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't believe Stefanski is a very good coach, even though the media builds him up. His game management is poor. I don't think this works out well for Cleveland. They are not getting much for Mayfield. Time will tell. -
Breaking: Von Miller to bills, 6 year , 120 million
Sestak4ever replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh will have us playing with large leads and Von Miller will be able to just tee off. This should allow him to flourish, the corners will benefit and Rousseau and Basham will most likely learn a few things to improve their game. -
JD Mckissic to Bills 2 year, 7 million
Sestak4ever replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a good signing and will drive linebackers crazy. Do I cover the running back out of the backfield or hold my ground and see if Josh takes off? Our OC should have fun with this keeping opposing DC’s guessing. -
Khalil Mack traded to Chargers for 2nd and 6th round picks
Sestak4ever replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wouldn't be surprised if this triggered was pulled after the Wilson trade was done to go after all the qb's in their division. They will try to bolster their secondary also. -
I agree to an extent. I’m sure they’re hoping for the same scenario they had with Peyton Manning. I’m also not sure how good their offensive line is.
-
Let's see. We lost to the Colts, the Titans, the Steelers and once to the Pats. Sounds like we could use someone to stuff the run.

If we never win a super bowl I would still take Josh all day long for his love of the game, his drive, his athleticism and his leadership. I never count us out with Josh back there. Time will tell, but he may be the greatest Bill of all time. We should thoroughly enjoy the ride, soak it all in and be grateful that Josh is a Bill.

Cole Beasley given permission to seek trade
Sestak4ever replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Beasley is as tough as nails and always gave his best making tough catches and played on a broken leg. However it is a business. Hope they find someone with his savvy finding the seams in a zone and toughness. -
I think we are fortunate to have multiple options with our first round pick. Could go offense or defense depending on any talent dropping to us. Also would not be surprised if we package some picks and go for quality vs quantity.

AFCE off season info, cap space, draft picks
Sestak4ever replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
We may very well package some of our picks and move up. Go for quality vs. quantity. It’s actually nice to be in that position. -
Forgot to mention I also have some autographed glossy black and white photos of Sestak, Lamonica, Gogolak, and Dick Hudson. I remember going to see them practice in Blasdell at the Camelot Motor Inn I believe. Became a Regency later I think. One other great memory was from the 1965 AFL championship game. Butch Byrd had a key interception and returned a punt for a td. People have forgotten how good he was, a true game changer.

1. Been a fan since 1962. I was eight years old. 2. First memory was beating the Chargers in the 64 AFL championship. We were pretty big underdogs if I remember correctly. That defense was awesome with Sestak, McDole, Day and Dunaway on the line. Stratton, Jacobs and Tracy as our linebackers. Butch Byrd and George Saimes in the secondary. Saban was one of the first coaches to employ the safety blitz, with Saimes. 3. One of my favorite memories was attending Super Bowl XXVI in Minnesota with my brother. 4. Favorite player of all time is probably Bruce Smith and Josh Allen currently. 5. My forum name is a tribute to Tom Sestak. He was as good as any d lineman in the game, just dominating and would have been a sure hall of famer if not for injuries shortening his career. His strength was unreal. If he grabbed a running back's ankle that running back was not breaking free.
-
It may just come down to our offensive philosophy and play calling. We'll see how Ken Dorsey and McDermott work together. They can extend Josh's career by leaning on the running game more and it also makes play action that much more effective. Singletary may be perfect for the right system along with whoever compliments him or shares the load, whether that be through the draft or free agency.

Don't be surprised if Josh Allen has a bumpy 2022
Sestak4ever replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
He will not regress or hit an entire bumpy season. Josh will continue to establish himself as the best qb in the game and many OC's will try to get their qb to emulate Josh. Unfortunately for them he is one of a kind with multiple skill sets and a mind set that cannot be taught. I believe he will be driven and extremely focused. -
Who is the best pass rusher we can get or available via trade
Sestak4ever replied to Fred Slacks's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lawrence Taylor multiple times, Reggie White multiple times, Julius Peppers multiple times, Derrick Thomas multiple times, Von Miller multiple times, not to mention Bruce Smith and Cornelius Bennett. What about Mario Williams against the Dolphins where he strip sacked Tannehill as they were driving for the go ahead score? -
Who is the best pass rusher we can get or available via trade
Sestak4ever replied to Fred Slacks's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need someone on defense, besides the secondary, that teams have to need to game plan for. We need either a lineman or linebacker that can change a game. We haven't had that since Mario Williams was here. -
Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
Sestak4ever replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everything that KC ran was underneath. Either our linebackers are at fault for not making plays or it is the coaching scheme on how they are used. Also on Mahomes scrambles, once he broke through the line their was no one to take him down. Again I would assume our linebacking core failed on those scrambles. -
If the Bills re-sign Edmunds, they're stupid.
Sestak4ever replied to damj's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some teams probably think he is great. Trade him for a second round pick and move on. -
Edmunds looked lost all night.

Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30
Sestak4ever replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Heard him on the Dan Patrick show. Sounds like a 12 year old going through puberty. Even Dan Patrick made fun of his voice. -

Stopping the run after the catch will be crucial to the Bills success in this game. Also need both of our linebackers to shut down everything underneath. -
Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30
Sestak4ever replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the defensive line can pressure Mahomes consistently then I believe we will have the upper hand and come home victorious. Fans need to plan on a late night trip to the airport!
