Giselle was correct. Tommy should have stayed retired.

Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs for picks

Reminds me of Tevon Austin. First round pick with speed and…… -
Is the league going to take any action against Mac Jones for his intentional kick to the groin of Brisker? That was done with intent to injure. I have not heard anything that the league is looking into it.

Hyde is a team leader and has been for years. I think he has helped Poyer become the player he is. Hyde plays an extremely intelligent game and will probably end up on the wall one day. One of the very best off-season signings in Bills history and one of the best safeties in the game.

Wait, wasn't he voted in the top 100 list last year as such a great qb??

NFL Week 7 - Around the NFL - Gameday thread (Bills have bye)

Rooting hard for Fields to have the game of his life tonight. -
Was a big Bills fan from back in the early sixties. My dad and older brothers were big Bills fans which obviously gained my interest. I loved their awesome defense and got to meet Tom Sestak, along with Pete Gogolak, Darryl Lamonica and Dick Hudson at an autograph session at the motel field in Blasdell where they practiced. I think it was the Camelot. I could not get over how massively huge Sestak was. To a small child he truly was a giant. His play on the field was second to none and his quickness and strength at his position were unmatched. If he grabbed a running back by the ankle, that running back was going nowhere. Unfortunately his career was shortened by a knee injury. That Bill's defense was legendary with Stratton, Tracy, Jacobs, Day, McDole, Dunaway, Saimes and Byrd. The best of all those greats was Sestak.

In the limited action between preseason and the short time played this year, Trey Lance did not show anything that looked like he was ready to be a starting qb. The 49ers up to this point have lost to Chicago, Denver and Atlanta. Some are picking them now for the Super Bowl. It could happen, but if those were Bills losses people would be armed with pitch forks and torches.

This just doesn't make sense to me. San Fran is decent with a good defense, but I don't think McCaffery does much for that offense. Garropolo is not a threat to beat you with deep passes and he doesn't buy time in the pocket or rolling out where he is a threat to "make something happen". Their needs are much greater than a multi-purpose running back to be a real threat. They will be competitive, but it would have made more sense for McCaffery to land in LA, KC, Tampa or even Green Bay.

Reading some of the KC blogs and while some are respectful there are a lot of sour grapes. Some continually saying Josh wins in October but folds like a table in the playoffs. As incorrect as that take is, it isn't worth responding to. It somewhat surprises me that some can't appreciate the great games these two play.

Week 6, 10/16/2022, Bills v. Chefs GAME BALLS
Sestak4ever replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. Milano made multiple sure handed tackles that otherwise would have been big gains. He helped force the game ending interception. He showed tremendous closing speed and was flying all over the field. So many played well today. Going to be a wonderful two weeks going forward. -
They said the Rams were one of the teams inquiring. They might offer first round picks from 2028 and 2029. They've pretty much mortgaged everything else.
-
Just sounds like Carolina wants too much in return.

Our defensive backs have played well, but there have been games in the past where White was a game changer. There is a good chance had he been on the field against KC in that playoff game he may have made a difference. He also is a team leader. As long as he comes back to his old self I am keeping him for sure.

New offensive wrinkles for the Chiefs defense this week

Kelce is amazing, but you also need to get up into Mahomes’ grill so he can’t buy time. -

We need to have someone hitting him when he comes off the line of scrimmage and disrupt their timing along with an effective pass rush to hurry/ sack Mahomes. I would like to see our offense use Cook of some pass routes, short or long. -
They also need to flag KC’s offensive line for the egregious holding like they got away with against Vegas.
-
He’s playing both sides of the fence. Prepping himself so he can’t lose.

What do you expect from a guy with an 11 year old girl’s voice.😆

I agree that we have turned the ball over way too many times so far this year. If we play mistake free football we should win this game. I believe the difference will be our defense, especially if the Chief’s line doesn’t get away with the egregious holding like they did last night.
-
It appears that our running backs are constantly breaking tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage, and usually due to guard play. Not seeing any holes to run through like you see with many other teams.
-
I thought Dodson played an excellent game. He was making tackles all over the field.

Elway has done such a great job bringing in these qb's. Just brutal! Hard to believe Wilson was in the MVP conversation two years ago.
