  1. Mac Jones throws punts and Tua hangs on to the football way too long, and that was playing with the lead. What's he going to do trying to comeback down three scores against our D?
  2. I agree 100% and then they call us for holding on the kick off return by McKenzie for the td. Argghhh!
  3. Our run defense should hold up. They actually were doing well bottling up Henry last year until that 70+ yard run which involved a ton of holding on the part of the offensive line including the dude that tackled Poyer as he was preparing to make the tackle. Need to jump out to a good lead and let the defense tee off on Tannehill.
  4. I guess your shocked. I just figured that Mills looked decent last year and Ryan is at the tail end of his career and is prone to an untimely turnover or two. The opening week lived up to its upset reputation.
  5. Mods - you should merge this with " Pick your week one upset".
  6. All this goes to show is just how powerful the Bills are on both sides of the ball. The Rams are an excellent team. Not only did we have 4 turnovers but also an out of bounds kickoff. Still won by 3 touchdowns. Notice has been sent to the rest of the league. Go Bills!!🏈🍻
  7. I was sure we would beat the Steelers in the opener last year by 21 points. So I’m a little hesitant but I believe we are the better team and need to send a message to the rest of the league that we are in fact the best team. Go Bills!!🏈🍻
  8. I think Josh, and the team in general, learned last year that you can never take your foot off the gas pedal (as happened last season in the Jaguars game). Proper preparation and coaching will make sure they play each game one game at a time. It goes without saying that the cumulative season will be a measure of that success. I am an eternal optomist when it comes to the Bills, but if we stay healthy I could see them setting records offensively. Go Bills!!
  9. Every year there seems to be one or two unexpected upsets on the first week of the season. I’m picking the Texans over the Colts. What’s yours?
  10. Hard to believe that Goff and Wentz are in the top 10 guaranteed list. Who will we be saying that about in the next 2 - 3 years?
  11. Leatherwood cut by Vegas. Former first round pick by Mayock.
  12. Name one other player that can get time away from his team for a similar reason. There are none. What do his teammates think? I would be pissed to say the least. We were always told at practice that there are no prima donas. Obviously that is not the case with Marcia.
  13. I truly believe that he will never live this down and will not be able to handle it mentally. Every road game will be a gauntlet. I would not be surprised if his career plummeted and the Browns are stuck with that contract.
  14. Very sad. Thoughts and prayers to the Knox family.
  15. I thought Settle was great against the run for the limited time he was in there. Bryant played well also. If Morris keeps impressing then I believe Sweeney is gone. Crowder needs to show something soon or he could be a surprise cut. Of course we dont see the practices, but with only 3 preseason games each one is critical to show what you got.
  16. A good portion of his completions were check downs.
  17. Giants offensive line is offensive
  18. How was that not intentional grounding and a safety?
  19. Getting rid of Lamonica wasn’t our only screw up. Remember Rauch let McDole leave because he was done. Only played at an all pro level with Washington for quite a few more seasons. The Dancing Bear.
  20. Whichever way they choose to call it, my biggest gripe is the lack of consistency in the calls, not only between different officiating crews but even within the same game. Players never know what they can get away with, what is called and what is not. Drives me crazy, and I'm sure most fans feel this way.
  21. Butler for sure. Also Robert James. Made his mark on special teams and became the top corner in the NFL. Teams would not even attempt to throw his way. Both of these guys had an opportunity to become Hall of Famers if not for injuries.
  22. Murray does not have the fortitude or the will to pull his team up when things go wrong. Once the Cards start spiraling out of control Murray will not pull them back together. It will lead to finger pointing and coaches being fired. I believe Murray could be poison for coaching staffs. In the past when they lost multiple games in a row Murray never shouldered the blame. Check how Josh reacts to a loss vs. Murray. Worlds apart.
  23. What would make someone think Araiza is a long shot? As you stated Haack was terrible and the Bills would not have drafted a punter if they were comfortable with Haack.
  24. And we got a 3rd round pick from Cleveland for Tyrod Taylor! Thank you Mr. Beane.
  25. Loved his passion for the game and for the Bills team. Got him in trouble with the officials a few times and I think it lead crews to look away when Hughes was being held or collared by an offensive lineman.
