  1. But they did get 5 turnovers and when you have backups at QB and RB, who aren't as talented as the starters, the offense is going to suffer. Not to mention, with Lamar out, you not only removed their starting QB, but also their best runner. And it wasn't just turnovers. Anthony Brown was under 50% completion and was sacked 4 times. I'm sure the Bills would love to play games where they won and led by at least 2 scores the entire game.
  2. OK and? NE played us tougher than Baltimore played Cincy. The game was really never in doubt. The game was literally a two score lead or more the entire game.
  3. The game was never really as close as the score shows. Cincy was up 24-7 at halftime. The Bills beat NE by 12 and that game was much more competitive than the Bengals-Ravens game.
  4. Once we see him in full practice, that's when we'll know he may be getting close.
  5. Marino? Seen him on the sidelines.
  6. Interesting how you want to label being realistic with "poo-pooing" something. Well here's a clue, that's not what I did and I'm celebrating it too. If you don't like it, well too bad really.
  7. I would argue the neck is even worse. The number of times a game players snap their heads around to look happens repeatedly and with the neck, with every tackle you're going to have that jarring effect. We're really never going to know approximately where abouts he is until we see him start to be a full participant in practice. If he's out of the no-contact jersey next week, that will tell us a lot.
  8. True, but he still has to be able to effectively cover and take hits. Until we see him at practice taking contact drills, I think it's pretty safe to assume he's not playing until then. That's not happening at least until next week at the earliest I understand. We'll have to keep a close eye on practice next week to see if he's a full participant.
  9. And baking their opponent on the visiting sideline in the September Miami sun.
  10. Unless Anthony Brown can transform into Lamar Jackson between now and then, I don't see them having much of a chance. Two picks and a 46 QB rating isn't going to get it done.
  11. The Chargers always seem to find a way to screw things up though and are kinda like the Raiders this year in that regard. I'm actually surprised they made the playoffs. Chiefs already beat Jax this season too and Jax really had no answer for Mahomes, who hit 4 different receivers for TDs.
  12. That's basically the opposite argument though. Bengals got hot at the right time last season. We'd be having to talk about how the Ravens were hot right now and they certainly aren't. They backed into the playoffs and Cincy beat them fairly easily last week.
  13. Reports are he had surgery Monday but was out of practice today as most people would assume. Not looking good for Sunday. I don't know how effectively a RB can play with 1 hand in a cast anyway. Wouldn't have to worry about him catching the ball and can only really carry in one arm. Would be ripe for a turnover.
  14. Yep, the Bills beating themselves is the only way the Fish have a chance here. Bills are clearly the more talented.
  15. Not saying the fish won't be able to run because they certainly were able to last game, but if Mostert is a no-go, that's better for us. Wilson is a capable back, but not the same IMO.
  16. I didn't mean to imply that meant playing for any particular team...just being able to return to the field period.
  17. All depends on what version of the Bills O shows up. If it's the one that struggles to get the ball in the endzone, or worse, keeps turning the ball over in the redzone, they certainly are beatable. If it's the Bills O that has looked unstoppable at several points throughout the season, you're going to need a Mahomes or Burrow there. The return of the long ball last week looks very promising.
  18. I don't know what's going on with Lamar. Maybe he's decided he's done with Baltimore. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/11/report-lamar-jackson-not-looking-good-for-sunday/
  19. Yeah, all Wilson really did there really was effectively manage the game and manage not to lose it for them.
  20. I think you've been sneaking some of that N2O @teefhas saved for after the game.
  21. If he's in a non-contact jersey today, I see the likelihood of that being pretty low. Not saying I wouldn't welcome it though.
  22. Teddy might be available, just depends how available. Probably expect Skylar to start with the possibility of Teddy being emergency QB or depending on the finger, come in if Skylar lays an egg. Says he's working to be available. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/dolphins-teddy-bridgewater-working-to-be-available-vs-bills/
  23. Noooo!! My nerves can't handle that, especially against the fish and backup QB, lol. Get a nice lead early and give our starters a break. Best possible outcome.
  24. That's the best possible scenario right there, but I'm going to assume that doesn't happen so I can be pleasantly surprised if it does.
