I don't know about the Sabres but many other teams just keep giving important positions to unqualified former players over and over and over. The Flyers are poster children for this crap. if you take a puck to the face for their team once, you too can eventually become the coach of their AHL affiliate. These are the types of guys that go nuts over blowing picks for 4th line plugs because of HEART and GRIT.

I won't have enough likes to pass around to all the others who have lost people. I lost by grandmother around the Bills-Redskins Super Bowl (I drew her a pic of a Redskin cowering with a looming Buffalo in the foreground). My father died the summer of 1994. My brother died a few months before the playoff drought ended. I especially wish my brother held on a few years longer but his transplanted heart was 20 years old. It was already a miracle he practically doubled his lifespan and got to have a family. I admit I wasn't too vested in the team for large chunks of the drought but it was either Bills football or no football. Get that Lombardi for all that have gone before. Let's Go Buffalo!!!

It seems the "logic" is they supposedly played one out-of-conference opponent that they wouldn't have had to play last year before most other team., The total number of games played "doesn't matter". Why this matters at all is lost on me as well. The Bills decimated their "extra" opponent. I don't know who the other teams have for theirs but it's moot to bicker about now that Washington is toast. Hopefully the rest of the AFC's "extra" opponents destroy them.
