I thought this was one of the bands I'd never get to see live. As soon as I saw he retired from politics and got the band back together I flipped out and raced down to visit my best friend who lives about 40 minutes north of Philly and went to see them in Glenside.
The best part was I was checking their previous set lists and was a little sad I didn't see their epic "Jimmy Sharman's Boxers", a song about an indentured group of indigenous men that this jerk would take around the country and auction off for boxing matches against the highest bidder. I figured it was too deep a cut. Then halfway through the show I heard the beginning of it and got chills. Fantastic smaller venue show with a band that would've been on my bucket list forever if they hadn't broken up.
