  1. The team, then the league, finally did the right thing.
  2. Agreed with everything that has been said. Another sad part is that she still married him. The cycle continues....
  3. This. I looked for flags, then after there were none, I waited for the graphic that said "final score" then I waited for the inevitable breaking news that there was a mistake and Fred's run was actually a turnover somehow.
  4. From the comments section: "I am a Pats fan. But, this story is awesome. THIS is what football is about. THIS is the kind of stuff that builds winners. Buffalo fans deserve it." Not all Pats fans are evil?
  5. Carpenter. Then EJ. Then Schmidt. EJ didn't have a great game, but with all the **** he's heard from us "fans" it's a shock he didn't go out there and lay an egg. Something to be said for mental toughness.
  6. Agreed. That make up call (it was clearly PI) doesn't happen under Jauron.
  7. Very good point. But I shouldn't have even brought it up. The first two minutes of this video is why we are all here.
  8. Ok, so maybe it is. But the Carolina game actually shows a lot. I've been as critical of him as anyone. So I decided to actually watch him again. http://youtu.be/TemFKtDmKn4 My favorite part is not his play on the field, rather his quick conversation with Doug at 6:00+. EJ literally calms down his head coach. I'm sure this will be locked, and mods, I haven't started a thread in years, but... Wait I have no excuse. I just love this video. The first two and a half minutes made me wonder who was cutting onions in my house. Go bills. Signed, An over served 2004 version of stevestojan. This topic is being discussed everywhere.
  9. Making EJ our #2 behind a solid NFL veteran while he actually learns pro football is one of the more logical ideas I've heard on TBD in a long time. Because it's so logical, there is zero chance OBD does it.
  10. I don't care about him unless he can immediately start at one of our two positions of need: 1) QB 2) Head Coach.
  11. We're ALL "rooting" for him because we're Bills fans. Unfortunately, he's not a good quarterback.
  12. I might be ignorant in asking this, but I assume punter is one of the only positions where college vs pros makes no difference? I mean, it's catching a long snap and punting the ball. If my simple assumption is correct, that video is promising. Signed, Guy who is very upset about being excited about our punter.
  13. This thread wouldn't exist if he wasn't openly gay. Good for him for being openly gay, but simply put, the media attention regarding who he chooses to get naked with is the only reason we know his name. Unless he has a rocket QB arm, or isn't some Syracuse coach who would start his star WR in a preseason game despite a rib injury, I'll pass on him.
  14. Rubes, I respect ya man, but who really cares? The "official" roster thread will go off on tangents that no one wants to try to follow in 10+ pages, so I don't mind separate threads for some players so long as there is decent content. My two cents.
  15. The comments.... Just awesome. "My last memory of Buffalo Bills playoff football was the Music City Miracle. If I woke up tomorrow and had three wishes, two of them would be Rob Johnson getting ebola."
  16. Good Lord.. Is this true? Never mind. I looked it up. Now I'm sad.
  17. It's hard to sell in the NFL.
  18. Sammy is drunk on Chippawa looking for Canadians hoping to get traded to Seattle.
  19. Havent been less excited/interested in a season in 30 years.
  20. "It makes those abused animal commercials with the sarah mclachlan music playing so much sadder when the one-eyed pug is 4 feet tall."
  21. The dead guy. I think the story was pretty clear on that.
  22. Well, I don't post here much anymore but I knew this topic would make for an interesting read. First, CNN is tiptoeing very closely between being TMZ and being sued for libel with their headline this morning of "Tony Stewart kills...." Second, I watch nascar about as I watch out for my liver's health, but I saw the video. If this goes to any sort of trial (which I highly doubt), TS needs a jury trial. I assume the jury would include at least one racing fan. But I believe most judges are not nascar fans and would look at that video as I did: a 20 year old idiot (Darwin Award winner as TBD calls him) puffing his chest at cars going 25-30 MPH after he felt a superstar in his sport "wronged" him - or perhaps he'd make the local news by getting into a scrap with a big league driver. The half second of video where I see TS, I see what is at the very least reckless driving. At worst, manslaughter. I'm positive you can't get in trouble for reckless driving in an organized car race. Not so sure about the homicide part.
  23. Can't remember the last time I've agreed with Tom, but he makes a point. Time to burn the wallet.
  24. You have to love that there are already 60+ people following that twitter account. And by love I mean hate. #maybetheyearafternext.
