I paid $350 for Sunday ticket but the streaming version as I dk t have cable. So I watch it streaming through the Xbox I bought just to stream Netflix, Hulu, etc. Its unacceptable that there's a 3 minute delay but what am I going to do? The only problem is that my 68 year old dad, regardless of how many times I ask him not to, texts me after every good/bad play. So I've resorted to muting my phone, keeping it face down during games.

DTV steaming is always about 3 solid minutes behind. That "Kyle" post was 2.5 minutes before I just saw it.

My flight is on Wednesday out of Norfolk, landing in Newark at 10pm for layover to go to Buffalo and land there around midnight. As I was just recently there, and flights back on the weekend were very expensive, we decided to fly back Friday afternoon. A quick turnaround trip to see the folks on thanksgiving. The concern is the weather in Newark. Yes, I've looked at the weather channel, but they are known for fear mongering. Normally this would be easy. Just go and see what happens. But if it gets canceled when I'm there, they just put you on "the next available flight." If I cancel now, I get $400 of my $800 back (two tickets, my wife and I). United said they MIGHT offer full refunds starting Wednesday morning if the weather gets VERY bad, but if they don't, that is then out of the cancel window for any $ back. So, any of you up in NJ, NYC, Philly, etc have a better feel for what's really going to go down on Wednesday/Thursday. I just know, Murphy's law, if I go, I'll get stuck. If I dont, I'll track the flight and it'll be fine.

Try to reverse this. Imagine if a former coach of ours came to Buffalo as a coordinator, beat us at home in an early season (see: meaningless) game, and his players carried him off the field as if he had won the damn super bowl. Fast forward Bills fans. That same ex coach is now using Ralph Wilson Stadium as his "home" field because of a storm. I'm sure we'd be rooting for him.... And we'd be very classy about it.
