  1. Not sure why man, but I trust a man in his 40s who wears a beanie 24/7.
  2. There’s a time and a place. This was neither. Little kids died. If his point is that it was caused - or at least not mitigated - by the actions of the current administration that the families of the victims voted for (which is clearly his “point,”) an op ed piece in a few months would be somewhat more appropriate. But that would also require him to point to specific cuts that happened before the flood that added to the death toll, rather than a cheap shot in a cartoon. But oh boy did he get some clicks.
  3. God I hope no one from the Chiefs message board comes here and sees this thread.
  4. It’s stories like this that make it hard for me to believe in a higher power; call him what you will. If there is truly some all powerful all loving being, why would he allow/cause such horror? And in this case, allow it to happen to innocent children who were specifically at a sleepaway camp that was meant to praise the very same “all loving” entity? I give a lot of credit to those who can still live their lives with that belief system because the counter points are just endless. The unimaginable grief the families must be going through right now…. just brutal. So if a belief in something I’ll never understand somehow eases any of that pain, who am I to judge. Just horrific in every way.
  5. Another constructive conversation on PPP. Ideas being exchanged and minds being changed; all while acting like adults. Glad to see it.
  6. I know we’re both on the same side of the aisle but can we just all stop with this nonsense? No one supports known pedos. No one would vote for one. We want to know if there were any on the list because that would certainly be cause for concern on both sides; I think we can all agree on that? The thing we can judge MAGAs on in this case is the hurricane speed spin and whataboutism they are putting on this. “It’s sitting on my desk right now to review. That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that.” - The Attorney General of the United States, February 1, 2025.
  7. Durr hurr… all dems love pedos… durr hurr. My post was a joke… “release what?” since Pammy just told us there is NO LIST! 😂 What a total embarrassment.
  8. The spin even in this thread is marvelous. I even see some whataboutism peppered in. 😂 “I will reveal all the names on the list.” Oh this is so good.
  9. Ha! Ok. Didn’t know if it was just a stray shot. My bad Boyst 🍻
  10. I had five months of paid paternity leave with my son. I have a very stressful job. I have over 500 employees in my span of control (obviously directors who work for me, managers for them, etc, etc). But like everyone, work is “stressful.” Without question, those 5 months of pat leave were the hardest job I’ve ever had, by orders of magnitude. I think some folks on here are baby boomers, who I believe the stat is that something like 80% never changed a diaper… And if it shows my lack of work ethic, GOOD. I know on my death bed I won’t say “I wish I had spent one more month on that project to make my company another couple million.” I will say “I wish I had 1 more minute with Liam.”
  11. Thanks man. It was brutal - of course moreso for my wife - but in the end, we kept trying and now have my mini me, whose 17 months, and is sooooo close to saying “go bills” I think we’re like a week away. ☺️
  12. That’s REALLY early to announce broadly (from sad personal experience).
  13. Curious on your thoughts on this bill. What are the positives? I can’t weed through all the “millions will lose healthcare” (which is horrifying if it’s not done with precision to only remove those who are abusing the system) rhetoric so I’m interested in learning what the positive is? Tax free OT? Seems lame. No tax on tips? Sounds like it was written by someone who never worked for tips. Not being argumentative; honestly curious what the pros are to the bill from someone on the other side of the aisle I respect.
  14. Yes, of course. But unless they used an AI Trump, they are simply using clips of the man speaking. I fully understand he has been misquoted/taken out of context by the left many times before - “very good people” “suckers and losers,” to name a few times the left embarrassed themselves by taking things out of context when they don’t need to because he has plenty of stupid s.hit on his own accord - but these are pretty clear cut, regardless of which station reported on them, no? Inflation is not going down, egg prices spiked in March but are back down (and while I truly don’t believe the POTUS has control, nor should worry about ***** eggs - just eat less eggs, fatties - , he said he would reduce the price “from day one” so he should have just skipped that one, but my biggest issue is: “We’re not going to touch Medicare” is a pretty binary statement - and regardless if it was posted on MSNBC or Breitbart, it’s an out and out lie.
  15. I lived in Hoboken for four years. Truly the best place I’ve ever lived and I’ve lived in 8 different cities across the country. Just an awesome place. I will say though, I paid $4700/mo for a 750sq ft loft so the secret is out and the prices are not substantially lower than NYC anymore.
  16. My buddies own several wing joints in NYC. Their story is amazing. But to get to the point: best (and in my opinion only truly authentic wings in NYC). Dan and John’s wings. At least three locations. Just Google maps when you get there to find the closest. They also play all bills games with a bunch of bills fans.
  17. I always loved Jay Riemersma when he was a Bill. Being an idiot, I wore a tshirt to a game that said “Jay Riemersma is my Dad” in 2014 (ten years after he retired). At least 50% of people who read it said “man I loved your dad when he was on the bills!” I’m exactly 6 years younger than Jay. I found him on Facebook and sent him that story thinking he’d never respond because it’s so stupid. He did reply, and said how much he loves Bills fans. We now chat every once in a while about our chances against certain teams, what position we need at the draft, and he sends me a happy birthday message annually.
  18. I wish your employer could see this post.
  19. I don’t know how anyone can deny - now, a few days later with good/clearer intel - that: 1) This was a resoundingly successful mission based on its goal and the resulting outcome. 2) the “leak” was weak far left nonsensical reporting at best, criminal conduct at worst. 3) We can still disagree on whether the action and mission itself was still in the best interest of America. But, its seeming more and more to me (a far left whacko or a MAGA in disguise, depending on who you ask on this bored) that it was at least not as dangerous a move as I thought initially. So I’ll stand corrected there, for now, unless Iran does something insanely stupid. And I don’t think they want to be wiped off the face of the planet over “pride.” But again, what the ***** do I know? 4) Pete liquid lunch Hegseth still isn’t the best we could do for this very important government position, but at least this time, he seemed to do something right. That’s where I’m at right now.
