  1. Injuries and covid issues aside, I think this is the game where we realize that last week was merely a mirage and the same team we saw most the season returns against a quality opponent. And if we do lose this game as I predict we may be staring down a nightmare scenario on the road in the NO on a short week and then a red hot dominant Pats team that will be looking to send a message on national TV against their former punching bag. In the end I see this one playing out like the Steelers game but won't be surprised if the Colts pull away earlier since they have a better QB/oline/RB Colts 30 Bills 20
  2. Yikes talk about a complete disaster and mishandling of the oline by this front office and coaching staff. And we are essentially wasting 2 rosters spots on guys who add nothing in Ford and Doyle. And speaking of the latter at what point do we just release him and hedge our bets that we can just put him on the practice squad if he obviously can't contribute right now? I know we lost Anderson and Wildgoose who were also late round picks but whose going to poach Doyle if he's not good enough to play for one of the worst olines in the league.
  3. Patriots have now outscored their oppponents 94- 13 in their last 3 games and 175-50 during their 5 game win streak. Mac Jones wasn't even that great tonight too. Just don't see how we are going to move the ball or score against this team and this oline is going to get taken to the woodshed even if at full strength and starting to really feel that sick feeling that they are hands down the best team in the division.....And just like that the Pats retake control of the AFC East tonight, if not just temporarily anyway.
  4. If the opposing team can't stop it there's no need to do anything different. That's why I also hate this match up against the Bills defense because they've struggled mightily in the past against QB's who get the ball out quick this defense is all about letting up these type of plays between the 20's. Where the Pats offense has excelled is in the redzone which will be a major problem to stop.
  5. Falcons are lucky they are only down by 10 so far, Pats are so methodical in everything they do and rarely makes mistakes which makes them so hard to beat. For all the hype around Mac Jones, this Pats defense quietly is making it's case for best in the league and right up there with the Bills but big difference is they get sacks and in bunches. It makes me very uneasy to think what's going to happen when they go up against the Bills oline.
  6. Here's another gem....In his first 10 starts, Jones numbers are near identical or better compared to Brady 🤢
  7. They were still soft when it mattered. My biggest concern with this defense is anytime we've faced a remotely competent QB we've pretty much lost other than the Chiefs game. This is why deep down I think that we could be in serious trouble well before the Pats game against the likes of Wentz and Simian who have both had their moments in the past, specifically Wentz who was the sure fire league MVP before he got hurt and the Eagles won the SB with Nick Foles. Wentz is also undefeated against the Bills in his career.
  8. He needs to be humbled even if it comes at the expense of this team crashing and burning down the stretch watching the Pats run away with the division. I do have faith though that you'll see no more of this run it back crap and resigning anybody and everybody on the roster going forward.
  9. PFF has Mac Jones graded as the #1 QB in the NFL against zone coverage at 91.3 overall. To say this should be a major concern against Frazier and McD's defense is an understatement. I'm utterly mystified how this guy can be so good and the Pats apparently didn't need to wait until the 6th round this time to find another Brady.
  10. Everyone knows the Colts plan on punching this team in the mouth, so the message needs to be to punch back and punch back harder but just don't see how that's going to be possible given the glaring weaknesses on both sides of the ball up front.
  11. Was watching some of the talking heads on tv gush about the Pats earlier and they pointed out how they are outscoring teams 150-50 the last 4 weeks including against the #2 and #5 overall defenses (CAR/CLE). Say what you want, but this is very concerning especially with a rookie QB that everyone keeps calling a game manager. You just get the sense that if the Pats win tonight as expected they may very well be taking control of the division for good and there is going to be tremendous pressure on the Bills to keep pace this weekend.
  12. They might be without multiple key pieces this week too which will certainly help offset the situation but if the Bills beat the Colts and do it decisively it proves a lot IMO so I'm not going to discount it.
  13. This is why I dread the patriots right now. Everyone laughed when they threw big money at Smith and Henry in FA, but there's a specific reason Belichik did it and the results are paying off right now. He also knows it's how you beat Frazier's defense which shows what an evil genius he is.
  14. Based on their play the last month yes and they haven't been 100% healthy in weeks either for that matter.
  15. Not really but the 90% of the fans on here will and you know it.
  16. Still think it's somewhat of a hollow accomplishment given where KC/Mahomes were when we played them and where they are now and sadly we probably lose against the Chiefs 8 out of 10 times if we played them again. This is why aside from the Patriots, the Chiefs are going to be the team nobody wants to see in the playoffs and are still reigning AFC champs until they are eliminated.
  17. Not having all these players available sucks but it will be just an excuse if the Bills do in fact lose to the Colts. If the Bills truly fancy themselves as an elite SB type of team you still beat a quality team like the Colts at home and do so handily like the Pats did last week against the Browns.
  18. I'm extremely confident in Klein being a beast out there in Edmunds absence against a physical, run oriented team like the Colts. But without Milano then you probably have to move Klein outside and put a guy like Dodson in the middle and don't think he's up to task against this type of team. So yah whatever the deal with Milano they should let him sit the rest of the week and get him on the field on sunday.
  19. Milano just can't stay healthy and on the field and I see zero chance of stopping the Colts without him, Star and Edmunds this week.
  20. Or lose to the Steelers either. Certainly can't blame them for the Jags game though since they did their part and held them to 9 total points. I've said many times this team is great as a collective unit and sum of parts, but still think against other solid teams they falter at times because of not having a true star in the front seven. Also despite all the numbers about pressure this team is generating we've moved towards the bottom of the league in sacks basically average 1.5 per game and that shouldn't be the case at this point of the season especially against so many rookies/poor QB's on the schedule that other defense have feasted on.
  21. They have best RB in the league not named Henry and are a similar physical team in the trenches like the Titans and Steelers. Also 5-2 after an 0-3 start with both losses in overtime against other contenders like the Bills. But again the bigger issue most are overlooking is the added juice so to speak because we ended their season last year. Sure they will say it's another game just like we did against the Chiefs but it's simply not true and unlike the Bills who were throttled in the playoffs by the Chiefs, the Colts actually outplayed us and came very close to winning the game especially if that turnover call at the end goes the other way.
  22. Everyone knows Bates should be out there but it won't happen because of this teams history of poor roster management and insisting to play the same worthless players over and over including keeping ST only players active at all costs. Also at one point do you give a guy like Jamil Douglas a shot?
  23. A close contact of who though? Also as I mentioned, we need to watch other oline starters closely and even Josh Allen the next few days because this situation could get even worse quickly....
  24. Here's another doomsday scenario to consider with Brown, assuming he has real Covid right now regardless of vaccination status.....we need to watch guys like Darryl Williams, Morse and Allen closely the next few days since he was in close proximatey with them on Sunday and presumably practice yesterday. Going to be a lot of anxiety the next few days watching to see who else tests positive on this team.
