When you are picking 30th, I would expect having the 30th best draft would be par. However, knowing some teams do not have all their picks, maybe 25th would be closer to par. So probably an average (not great not terrible) showing with a chance to better evaluate down the road. Disturbing thing is competitor KC's home run showing picking later in the same draft not even counting the value of trading a pick for O Brown.

A good thing about grabbing Ward is that he creates a hole for KC.

Actually, Hundley looked to be better passer than Jackson. Jackson injuries will probably increase as time goes on and his body wears down, he is putting on mileage like a running back. I have similar concern for Josh, but I believe Josh can become a mostly passer only weapon not sure if Jackson can.

I doubt if Derrick Henry would be the solution for that time frame, and it would hurt against the cap past his shelf life. Keep drafting cheap late rounders that have little effect on the cap, and let them go when the rookie contract ends. If they are decent and attract a FA contract by someone else, that's great then harvest the compensatory.
