There is so much the league could do to help the bad officiating, but they don’t. For example, it would take about 5 seconds to review roughing the passer calls, like the one where Josh flopped his head back as though he had been hit in it. We all it immediately after the play.

Why are people still saying the center was 5 yards down the field? When Macorkle released the ball he was 1-2 yards downfield with his foot still at 1 yard, which is probably why they picked it up. It’s still a bs move to pick the flag up, but why exaggerate? The PI with 18 seconds left was very impactful as it stopped the clock and gave them an extra down. That was one of those hooking the waist plays, but hardly impactful to the receiver. If that flag isn’t thrown, it’s second and goal, click running and they patriots get 2 plays before having to kick the FG to tie.

These need to be 15 yard penalties. What Watt did to the Ravens WR was ridiculous even if not intentional. Kind of like a slide tackle in soccer…go for the punch, but if you hit the player in the face, that’s a penalty.

Seems like the ref (back judge) may not have had the angle to see TJ still grabbing the jersey at the arm pit, but would have seen Waller’s hands on TJ’s face mask and therefor may have not thrown the flag. Not sure which other officials would be in position to make that call.
