  1. Milano doesn't deserve top dollar and the team that pays him at that level will be disappointed. His cover skills are not as good as the Warners, Whites, David's and Leonard's of the world and his run defense is not as good as Van Noy , Queen or even Demario Davis. QB pressure is not on par with Barrett, Ingraham, TJ Watt or many of the guys mentioned already. Why waste all that cap space on a oft injured, not overly physical, good LB.
  2. Gronk can never be a Bill. He would compromise any accomplishments. He is a Patriot and a Brady groupie and he doesn't deserve to share what we have in our sights.
  3. If Milano, who is misjudging his value on the reduced cap landscape, is gone, we don't have the luxury of drafting a back. We must go defense with an a versatile LB who can cover a tight end or RB and rush the passer. The other vital need is an edge rusher.
  4. Assumptions and opinions are what this forum is about. I am basing mine on this person's history of irresponsible and criminal behavior including a DUI and pulling a gun in a road rage incident. A player or coach with this criminal history would be precluded, in the majority of cases from working in the NFL. Reid hired his son knowing this history of alcohol related criminality. If his behavior and drinking wasn't being monitored, it should have. If you want to give the organization and Andy the benefit of an investigation fine. I'm sure the parents of the precious children who were plowed into on the on ramp of a highway in KC would disagree.
  5. My guess is that he is a problem drinker, who routinely got behind the wheel intoxicated and Andy knew about it. If he didn't, he should of. How many times did he do it and got away with it? The organization must have known he was a looming problem. You want to excuse it, because it's hard with regard to individual's rights to control alcoholism and poor judgment. I bet if you asked other coaches privately, they would concede he had a problem.
  6. You're probably right, but this guy has potential. Unfortunately he looked light as a feather last year. He certainly has the speed and desire.
  7. It was a DUI and that is a felony. Reid has some soul searching to do. If the kid, God forbid dies, we're talking vehicular homicide.
  8. It's only indicated when an alcohol problem is coupled with anger issues. Reid knows his players and the trouble signs. You mean he doesn't know his kid especially after losing his other kid to drugs. Zero tolerance for this criminal. No alcohol or no coaching job. Would a player be treated differently with a drug problem.
  9. When you are convicted of a drug felony and are released, you are tested for drugs and alcohol by provisions of parole. This violent criminal, who got hired as a coach in the NFL ,,without regard to. his criminal history through nepotism, should have been tested like players are for drugs and steroids constantly. The behavior clause in most NFL contracts should apply to a coach with a criminal record and alcohol abuse. Maybe this dangerous, oblivious act might have been avoided. I'm sure the parents of these children would agree with better oversight.
  10. If Andy's boy doesn't do real time our justice system is laughable. Andy obviously has plenty of culpability in this knucklehead jerk getting employed after pulling a gun in a road rage incident and then getting a DUI a few years ago. NFL players who are rightfully sensitive to racial injustices, need to come out and slam this behavior. A little child is fighting for life , and this privileged drunk has been enabled to threaten innocent lives by an oblivious TV football icon, who has insulated him from scrutiny. Reid has already lost a son to drug addiction. I think he should be sanctioned by the league for allowing his criminal ,maniac son to work in the league without rehabilitation and monitoring.
  11. If he can be what he was at Iowa and they pick off another free agent edge rusher the prospect of actually improving the pressure packages is realistic.
  12. Hopefully the braintrust is on the same page. Look for Epenesa to add 30 lbs of muscle and be productive next season also.
  13. I agree about improving the pass rush but when you have Barrett, White or David, these ferocious edge and stunt blitzes, make Oliver, Hughes and Epenesa better. I know White and Barrett quality LBs aren't readily available, but one LB game changer would go a long way to putting us on another level.
  14. It's gotta help but he could use some athletic guards as well, as much as I love Mongo and respect what Boettiger did this season.
  15. Shaq , White and David are beasts and should represent the blueprint for how to take down the high powered offenses in the NFL. We had a couple of speedy LBs, but they weren't physical enough and didn't pressure the QBs, shut down running games or instill fear in receivers, especially tight ends. running routes underneath. They had no interceptions and on the biggest stage came up short. Our LBs need upgrading.
  16. One game, anything can happen, but Tampa has the type of team to beat us 6 or 7 out of 10. Their d-line and LBs are as good as the Rams and far better than KC. The Tampa O-line dominated KC and they were able to score at will, which we could not and field goals never get it done against good teams. Tampa is the better team this year, but we are coming.
  17. Williams was solid and deserves to come back. We could do a lot worse at right tackle.
  18. Bills fans don't need to hold back their contempt for late hits on their passport to success for the next decade. The shoe wasn't on the other foot because our guys didn't look to hurt Mahomes after the game was sealed. Mongo and Dawkins should have exacted retribution a play earlier. Do you think anyone would have tolerated this crap if it was the GOAT. His O-lineman would have been cut after the game, if they didn't stand up for their guy.Going forward, no cheap shots will go unpunished on our franchise. Sorry if it upsets your sensitivities.
  19. Baltimore and Indy don't have the QBs that can attack defenses on multiple levels like JA or Mahomes. I think the Bills will improve dramatically on defense next season to bring them closer to KC. Mahomes has never faced a Bills defense that could pressure him and neutralize Kelce. Do that and Buffalo can play KC tough.
  20. I love this guy. Eloquent, highly motivated, leader for young players and a flat out winner. This guy was the most influential acquisition the Bills have made since Cornelius Bennett. He makes everyone better. Give me another Diggs or two and coupled with JA17, we wish dominate any defense.
  21. Josh is a year or 2 away. After the leap he made from year 2 to 3, surround him with a quality running back and an improvement in run blocking along the o-line and anyone would like his chances to ascend to the top of the league.
  22. Corey has been awesome. His mishits get great topspin rolls and his bombs flipped field position all year long. Who doesn't like this guy?
  23. I am the biggest JA fan out there, and I know Mahomes is better right now and it's not close. Mahomes has 2 weapons that are HOF candidates and a better O-line, so that has to be factored in, but in their face to face matchups, Mahomes dominated and Mahomes has gotten to 2 SBs being behind in every playoff game. When JA gets to a SB and beats Mahomes to get there, let's have the conversation.
  24. It was chippy because as the game became one sided , KCs defense started hitting Josh after his throws and after the whistle. The altercation with Monzo and Dawkins and #57 was in response to these hits. KC was not the classiest of winners. Sorry.
  25. It would be beyond must see TV if this team improves pass rush and run defense. With any improvement by a running back, there would be no team on that schedule we couldn't beat.
