I’m not big on anime but the lions one got a sensible chuckle out of me. Well done

4 Detroit Lions suspended for gambling violations
Mynamemike replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed and if I remember correctly they avoided having a team in Vegas for the very reason that it could compromise the game. Yet here we are with non stop advertising for sports books. It’s sad, I’m watching good friends blow money they don’t have on this. At least when they had to go to the off track wagering or bookie, it limited how often they would gamble. Now they’ll gamble on literally anything all the time, it’s pretty wild to watch. -
If You Could Pick Any RB to Line Up Behind Josh

I’d like to see Jerome Bettis in todays game in a modern weight training program and diet. -
McDermott "officially" calling D plays

that’s no good, we’re better than that. What’s Beane even doing out there? -
McDermott "officially" calling D plays
Mynamemike replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn’t see any updates but are we bringing on any new coaches to make up for McDermott’s clapping now that he’s calling plays? I feel like we’re gonna need at least two people to make up for the loss of sheer power and enthusiasm he brings to his claps. -
Isaiah Simmons might be an answer for the Bills at MLB

100%. If we had Von and a healthy Jordan Phillips on that line come playoffs I feel like it’s a different outcome. I really like the off-season we had, especially offensively. I feel more comfortable with McDermott having to make up for deficits on the defense than I do with Dorsey not having all the weapons at his disposal. I think if the D can stay a top ten unit which is entirely possible and the offense gets just a little bit more diverse with their game plans then we’re right back in the Super Bowl mix. -
The Ravens’ LB Patrick Queen is rumored to be a trade candidate.
Mynamemike replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t like the idea of moving Ed in general especially to the ravens. Strong chance we meet them again the playoffs and I don’t want an extra motivated Oliver on the other side. Let big Ed ride out the year and take the comp pick if he can’t be resigned imo. now Ed to Arizona for Hopkins maybe that’s a deal I might consider. i do think the staff feels comfortable with what they have at backer for better or worse. -
I still think we’ve never replaced that Lorenzo Alexander role from year one of McDermott. That guy who could line up off the ball or his hand in the dirt. He was very strong against the run, a solid blitzer and good enough in coverage that you didn’t know what he was doing pre snap. I’m excited to see what the plan is for these young backers.
-
People were definitely high on him after last preseason. I agree I think the staff has him as their man in the middle as well. I don’t think Bernard is anything more than Milanos backup and special teamer but who knows. Excited to see the battle during camp play out.
-
Give me a similar stat line from Josh as last year with less turnovers and an improved running game and I feel confident going into the playoffs next year. if Josh has to go play hero ball again all year we’re out early in the playoffs again imo. it feels like it’s been a quiet offseason but I’m really excited to see how things shake out.

Bills sign Latavius Murray to a one-year deal
Mynamemike replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does this make Hines our new Taiwan Jones? I know he’s going to be primary returner but does he have experience playing gunner? I like this signing but interested to see if we keep four active backs on game day. Maybe Dorsey is going to commit to pounding the rock. I feel like teams are getting so small and fast on defense that a team that can bully up front and hammer the ball down field is very dangerous in the playoffs. -
But does he bring his lunch pail? If so sign him up!
-
Honestly I’d take Suh in the rotation. He will probably wait to sign with a contender again mid season but he looked rock solid in the playoffs. Our defense needs some folks with a mean streak
-
Never mind I’m an idiot. I like that move now
-
Why we giving up next years capital? Not a fan of that
-
Which is amazing considering all the guys who had an extra year due to Covid and how pss happy college ball is. You would figure wr and corner would be deep every year especially this year but overal it’s definitely a weak class
-
Bears commuting to that oline
-
Don’t know much about him but his highlights he looks fast and definitely likes to hit. He plays a lot like Milano imo which isn’t a bad thing. Is it what the defense needs? No idea but I’ll trust McDermott to put the best d on the field as possible.
-
How do we feel about three tight end sets? Let’s get real wonky with it
-
That’s pretty cool all around
-
well aware that’s why it doesn’t concern me. I’m looking at this as more of a wr pick than a te. We don’t need him blocking, we need any him finding those soft spots and being a human vacuum and catching the ball in traffic which seems to be his strong suit. I’m excited about the potential
-
I heard he has back issues too so it’s possible the staff wants him to slim down which would help him be that big slot weapon with added quickness imo.
-
Cover 1 made a good point we tried this with oj Howard this past year. I’m imagining what the pats had with Gronk and the axe murderer for a few years. If done correctly it could be absolutely lethal
-
I didn’t think we’d do it. I don’t know much about college guys but people seem to think he’s a beast. I guess we’ll see if Dorsey can get creative but could this be our Beasley replacement? Obviously not as quick but a much bigger target against linebackers. Excited to see what the kid can do. Now go get Hopkins and a linebacker and call it a draft
-
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Mynamemike replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really a fan of giving up Ed imo. Offer a third and a fifth this year and a conditional third or fourth next year. Trade back if possible in the first this year to reacquire some of the picks. I’m not as high on the Hopkins as a lot of folks but wouldn’t mind having him if he’s healthy.
