  1. i've been there a few times and i have a friend here that drives down there practically ever week for their releases, he brings a mule with him so he can get double the allotment. Their beer is very, very, very good

  4. the breaded ones are to die for
  5. i searched for the more comprehensive thread we had going a while ago, but had no idea what the keywords should be...anywhoooo....some really good music released recently(this week in fact), just a brief synopsis of recent stuff Father John Misty(hate his antics, but love his music), this new album doesn't suck at all. Future Islands - if you haven't listened to them, you need to, and if you have listened to them and didn't like them, do a youtube search of the band on david letterman, the lead singer is pretty freaking intense, but their music should stand for itself, and again, the new album is spectacular Craig Finn...another highly unrated/unkonwn artist. The lead singer of the Hold Steady, writes some incredible songs, great lyricist, and very dynamic live performer. haven't even touched on Son Volt, Robert Randolph, Spoon, Elbow etc..... so much great music, so little time.
  6. just saw this....so frigging awesome....and on a side note...who f***ing cares where he went, be glad he's not here
  7. you need any ideas as to what to do while you are there? i suggest you check out the olive garden in williamsville....probably the best authentic italian food i have ever tasted, there's also an arbys that has some killer roast beef. I think it's on transtit
  8. Jack is always talking about hiking the fire towers in the ADK, i think that is pretty cool. There are plenty of areas around philly that i could legit hike in, not sure if i have the conditioning, yet, to go balls in on regular actual hikes. I find the stories very interesting, they paint mental images of being out in nature, and that's never a bad thing
  9. Alternate Headline: Aaron Rodgers shaves his beard
  10. not to sidetrack the original conversation, but..... what do you consider hiking vs walking. Is hiking more off road and trails? I have valley forge park practically right next to my office, often times i go to the park, change into shorts, t, sneakers and do 4-5 miles. It's all paved paths and relatively flat. I am not going up hills or into wood. I go at a fairly good clip for walking, i try to average at or just under 15 min/mile. I hate calling it a hike because in my mind hiking is going up slopes, through unpaved forest trails etc.....but saying i went out for a walk makes me sound like an old guy that's out for a stroll in my velcro sneakers and mr. rogers sweater. such struggles i deal with in my head
  11. i'm always on facebook & twitter, use instagram for some things, not that big a user of that
  12. could it be, the triumphant return of T-Bone????
  13. Allen Griffin joins the staff, plus we have an official visit happening this weekend from a 4-star recruit.... http://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2017/04/syracuse_coach_jim_boeheim_tabs_former_player_allen_griffin_as_assistant_coach.html#incart_river_home
  14. i would need a couple/few double or triple ipas, but i'd definitely get to a "HELL YES!!!!!!!!"
  15. throwing away his college career for what? $60 and Utica for christs sake?????
  16. i was kinda disappointed in Smack Down last night. The Cena/Nicki(Miz/Marysse) thing was funny, but that got interrupted by that 10 minute violin interlude for Shitstain, then he didn't even wrestle and Miz/Marysse just kind of slinked off into the shadows. that just seemed very awkward.
  17. looks like the Jet's are jumping into the fray http://sportspickle.com/news/jets-free-agent-qb-phil-simms.html
  18. Lydon is falling out of first round projections....wonder if that will impact his hiring an agent. Based on the rumors we have read here, wonder if he has any bridges left, sounds like he may have burned a couple
  19. Wow, the crowd at Raw isn't letting Roman speak...looks like Roman is getting genuinely pissed have had this picture on my fridge of my boys with the Hardy Boys for 7 years, nice to see them back in WWE
  20. a person not used to drinking craft beer would never think to substitute their bud light, coors light, corona etc for a prima pils or a founders all day, it's an intimidating leap and also a more expensive one. so i completely get staying in your comfort zone, all you can do is educate them that not all craft beer is heavy alcohol and body....
  21. i am a Cena fan, but you are right, his schtick gets really old, he always gets thrashed within an inch of his life then somehow summons the strength to, even his own shock and disbelief, to win the match. It never changes. Love seeing the Hardy's back. Only thing that would have made the Undertaker's farewell complete was if Reigns had raised the Undertakers arm after the match, but I know that would never happen, but it should have, he deserved to have been celebrated by his opponent and the entire WWE stable of stars. When he kissed his wife that was pretty cool.
  22. I also agree with this somewhat....although, i'd reach for an all-day ipa over a bud 99% of the time, but sometimes, if you can't be with the one you love....love the one your with
