  1. this guy has a good voice, but his gimmick has gotten old for me, as have the postmodern jukebox...i get it but make your own music, don't take other peoples songs and do your interpretations....no denying they are a talented lot though, and that silly penatonix group, or whatever they are called
  2. Hoping to get some today. The real treat is finding Canadian Breakfast Stout, both are delicious
  3. i actually used to think the same thing, i thought he was a made up character on the chappelle show
  4. never really got what people loved about him, but again, was never the biggest fan of the Chappelle show.
  5. nice synopsis http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/tapes-trackers-and-approaching-storms-better-call--253431?utm_content=TV&utm_campaign=SF&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=SocialMarketing
  6. Can't believe they brought Cena and Nikki Bella over to Raw, that was an incredibly surprising move
  7. interesting season opener. not sure how chuck and jimmy could have been so civil after what all went down. I couldn't keep my eyes open the last ten minutes, not an indictment on the show, more a commentary that i'm too fricking old to stay awake until 11PM
  8. never heard of her, i will check her out...in the same vein of that kind of 'country', just heard a guy Jeb Loy Nichols, very cool sound.
  9. first thing i thought when i heard his screaming that it was Benjy Bronk from the Howard Stern show.
  10. Leddy Coolsmoke and The Dirtsharks
  11. not sure if we should take anything more than him just enjoying his visit I guess not
  12. oh man, that is some great chit, enjoy them, but i suggest you drink one each night, they can boomerang on you.
  13. guy is a nutjob....i know coaches are whores and wins are what counts, but i wouldn't want the father around my program, pro or college, or even high school
  14. visit the turf farms, it's a fascinating place....and if you are in batavia, say hey to my buddy Stump
  15. i've been there a few times and i have a friend here that drives down there practically ever week for their releases, he brings a mule with him so he can get double the allotment. Their beer is very, very, very good
  16. Think I'll binge watch better call Saul this weekend to jog my memory and get me ready for Monday
  17. Take this for what it's worth from Jordan Tuckers twitter feed https://mobile.twitter.com/Therealjtucks/status/850469411098177537
  18. the breaded ones are to die for
  19. i searched for the more comprehensive thread we had going a while ago, but had no idea what the keywords should be...anywhoooo....some really good music released recently(this week in fact), just a brief synopsis of recent stuff Father John Misty(hate his antics, but love his music), this new album doesn't suck at all. Future Islands - if you haven't listened to them, you need to, and if you have listened to them and didn't like them, do a youtube search of the band on david letterman, the lead singer is pretty freaking intense, but their music should stand for itself, and again, the new album is spectacular Craig Finn...another highly unrated/unkonwn artist. The lead singer of the Hold Steady, writes some incredible songs, great lyricist, and very dynamic live performer. haven't even touched on Son Volt, Robert Randolph, Spoon, Elbow etc..... so much great music, so little time.
  20. just saw this....so frigging awesome....and on a side note...who f***ing cares where he went, be glad he's not here
  21. you need any ideas as to what to do while you are there? i suggest you check out the olive garden in williamsville....probably the best authentic italian food i have ever tasted, there's also an arbys that has some killer roast beef. I think it's on transtit
  22. Jack is always talking about hiking the fire towers in the ADK, i think that is pretty cool. There are plenty of areas around philly that i could legit hike in, not sure if i have the conditioning, yet, to go balls in on regular actual hikes. I find the stories very interesting, they paint mental images of being out in nature, and that's never a bad thing
  23. Alternate Headline: Aaron Rodgers shaves his beard
  24. not to sidetrack the original conversation, but..... what do you consider hiking vs walking. Is hiking more off road and trails? I have valley forge park practically right next to my office, often times i go to the park, change into shorts, t, sneakers and do 4-5 miles. It's all paved paths and relatively flat. I am not going up hills or into wood. I go at a fairly good clip for walking, i try to average at or just under 15 min/mile. I hate calling it a hike because in my mind hiking is going up slopes, through unpaved forest trails etc.....but saying i went out for a walk makes me sound like an old guy that's out for a stroll in my velcro sneakers and mr. rogers sweater. such struggles i deal with in my head
