  1. I wonder what Bob McAdoo thinks?
  2. This is a really dumb post. I’m betting you never spent time in a Scandinavian country because that wold kill your cold weather and fit women theory. I lived in Baltimore and I spend a lot of time in DC. Neither has more “hot chicks” per capita than anywhere else I’ve been. I will give you one point, some warm climates in the USA have more fit people than cold ones. This applies to both men and women and has more to due with lifestyle and an obiesity problem in the USA.
  3. Bennett is worthy of HOF discussion. Had the Bills won a few SB’s and he made a few big plays in those games his stats would be good enough. They didn’t and he didn’t. Bennett had HOF talent but will end up in the Hall of Very Good. Should make Bill’s Wall someday.
  4. 6-3 home loss to Cleveland by far. My kid took two days off from school and we flew to Buffalo for a long weekend to watch that mess. I felt ripped off, cheated, and wanted my money back. No entertainment value at all.
  5. This kid gets it. Beane said Allen “is Buffalo”, I think he is quite perceptive. I am really pulling for Allen to develop into our next great QB.
  6. Byrd is not even on the Wall of Fame and he makes this list? I love Byrd but Billy Shaw is a must. There are lots of players equal to Stratton and Smerlas.
  7. Anytime you lose two players like Eric and Ritchie you are going to step back a bit, for awhile. The question is for how how long? Can Groy eventually play at Woods level? How is much can we get out of Miller and Vlad until we can draft a solid starter? Can Dawkins have another solid year at LT? Is there emerging talent at OT and OG already on the roster? Lots of questions. Makes me think McBeane will need another off season to really bolster the OL.
  8. I think the defense will be better this year but lets not forget that really good defense requires good offense too. It is hard to play great defense if you are on the field all the time and in bad field position. We need the offense to generate first downs, control the cloak, and score some points.
  9. I think Schwartz would have done better than Rex but I am happy we ended up with McDermott/Beane.
  10. ^ Unfortunately this is true. Our revamped OL and an unproven QB will be tested. We need big years from Clay and Benjamin and whoever else we have at WR, they need to get open and hold on to the ball.
  11. Seems odd to not show up for a crowning achievement such as this but not surprising given his outspoken nature. His numbers definitely back his entry into the HOF but WR numbers are escalating as the game continues to evolve into a passing game. There are players with less stats that I liked better. I understand why he was not a first ballot entry. If Thurman Thomas was not a first year entry then no way is Owens.
  12. Bills fans really did a great thing. https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/01/11/buffalo-bills-fans-andy-dalton-foundation-donations
  13. I picked up a hat (not a fedora) in Niagara last summer. Getting pretty thin up top and it looks cool ?. Me. I have four in my rotation. Better than pulling the phone out all the time. Unless your already doing that.
  14. According to the way back machine 47 year and 9 months ago puts me in Oct of 1970. It puts me in 7th grade in those nutty junior high years. Seventh grade at Herbert Hoover Jr High in Town of Tonawanda. Could have been watching the first year of the Sabres in the Aud? Could have been watching the Buffalo Braves first NBA season? Could have been watching another hopeless Bills team?
  15. Mike Stratton - “The Hit” - 1964 AFL Championship Game. After that play we literally beat the living crap out of the Chargers.
  16. Ah yes, plugs, points, rotor, distributor cap and wires. The reliability and performance of today’s cars are fantastic but they looked cool in the 60s. Yes to both. Who are you?
  17. Hey don’t forget we had it harder AND the world was better too. My 3 millennial kids like that part of the story. Gotto go now and change the spark plugs in my Chevy, mow the lawn in a new direction, put a washer in my faucet, listen to some records, and catch the Gillian’s Island reruns.
  18. I think they improved the defensive talent and depth from where they ended last season ... much more so than the offense has. With Leslie Frazier running the defense I think it is a safe bet they improve from last year.
  19. Sure, let the Jets owners pay the players fine, and then let the league throw a flag after the anthem. Jets kickoff 15 yards back from normal placement to start the first half.
  20. Saban and Knox for sure. After that Joe Collier was the best coach by far as he finished 9-4-1, won the division and lost to KC in the championship game the year after Saban left. He struggled the next year as the team was being dismantlled, Kemp was injured and Lamonina gone. He was at least an excellent defensive coordinator for both the Bills with Saban, and for the next 20 years with Denver.
  21. So you think the Bills are the "worst team in sports" because they made it to 4 consecutive super bowls and lost. Now I have heard it all.
  22. Biscuit deserves top 50, maybe top 30 is correct, but not ranked ahead of Willie Lanier who is in the HOF and was the leader of a SB winning defense. Lanier should be rated higher.
  23. Jim Braxton needs to there, So does Tasker Ernie Warlick over Clay Kyle over Earl Edwards Ted Washington over Dunaway Edgerson has to play. Joe Develin over Barber and Foley Wallace Francis was good but not all time Bills good. Moorman over Macguire Christie over Gogolak. Reuben Brown for sure
  24. NO WAY. Who is to blame? How about the players. How about stay in your lane and defend the field. There were several players that did not do this. If they had the ball is either not thrown or a tackle is made.
