  1. There are much better ways to invest your money than trying to flip season tickets. Depending on the game/season you might be able to make a few hundred dollars but you also might lose money too. Things change fast in sports. I had a friend who owned Sabres season tickets and relocated to the West Coast. He kept his seasons, thinking he could sell the important games on Craig’s list and then to family and friends for at cost or somewhere close. He did fairly decent at first, largely from the inflated prices of games against Canadian teams or top teams like Boston at the time. But then the Sabres drought in. He started off almost breaking even, which he was ok with. Then the team started to suck and tickets were in less demand. He took a bath for the next three season, before just giving up. He held out hope that the team could get better - but when he literally couldn’t even give away free tickets, he knew it was over. The NFL is a bit of different situation. There are less games and ticket prices are much more in general. But to maximize your investment there has to be demand for the tickets, which usually means - the team has to be a contender every year
  2. It’s an NFL game in the fall! If I lived a few hours away from the stadium, I would definitely go!
  3. I didn’t have a problem with the FG‘S. The Bills were betting on their defense shutting down a weak offense. Unfortunately against the Jets, Josh’s turnovers flipped the game. I hated the 4th-and-inches call from the moment they put Josh in shotgun. Between Josh himself, Harris, and Murray, you have 3 players who have a very good chance at banging out an inch
  4. Joe has always been a moron. He was the same guy drooling over Aaron Rodgers this summer. Now he’s hurt and he wants to clean house? What a joke
  5. That’s a good analogy. It reminds of some college hockey broadcasts I listen to. The student announcers try to sound like Rick Jeanette at a “10” the entire broadcast.
  6. This is where I grew frustrated. What got to me is how the media (and then fans) would always use his age as an excuse. You could have a valid criticism of Edmunds and the response would be “he’s only 21.” Perhaps his age was relevant for his first few seasons but he didn’t change that much as a player over the 5 year span.
  7. There were many on Twitter anyways who kept posting the Wolverine meme with Edmunds in the frame. I thought that was a bit much
  8. I completely disagree….he is brutal to listen to. I never was a fan of Murph but I prefer him to Brown any day and hope he gets back ASAP
  9. Bills fans are a fickle bunch. First, everyone is saying how much the team will miss Edmunds, now it’s suddenly “Edmunds sucks.” Overall I think Edmunds was a good player. His length and speed did deter QB’s from throwing into zones and be covered a lot of ground in the passing game. He had his moments with run stops but it became apparent that it would not be his strong suit. He just never seemed to rise to the occasion and make big plays in big moments. This was my main criticism of him, especially considering he was for a new contract. What was the best Edmunds game? What was his signature play? I knew that he would be paid as a top LB and I didn’t think his play warranted that. I also wondered how a different type of LB would play in his spot. I guess we’re seeing this now in Bernard
  10. I haven’t listened since Howard Simon left.
  11. I think it’s fair to be a little bit concerned about the offense, only because it seems that Dorsey (and maybe Josh) struggle to get the ball into the hands of players who are mismatches for defenses. Deonte Hardy, James Cook Dalton Kincaid are great runners after the catch, and we have yet to see them get the ball in space. I think the Washington game was kind of similar to the opener against NYJ. The Bills struggled on 1st and 2nd down, often times setting up a 3rd and long situation. It was especially annoying because they predictably kept running in 2nd down for little gain. The difference was this time, Josh didn’t make the crushing errors on offense. It’s a long season and there’s still time to change some things up but I’d like to see more players get chances on offense in the passing game
  12. Some people are still celebrating…after all it’s still within the 24 hour rule 🍻
  13. New England had some success. Held Miami to just 7 points in the second half. If they had an actual offense they might have won the game.
  14. There may be some truth to this. I too wondered if the Bills should have stuck with Reich, not after the Houston game, but after going into Pittsburgh and easily taking down a pretty good Steelers team. It always seemed like the team played up for Reich. As tough as Kelly was, I think playing through injuries sometimes hurt the team more than it helped. This game was an example, as was the 1996 loss in Pittsburgh. P
  15. This was Kelly’s first game back from his knee injury and he looked pretty bad. Fortunately, Thurman and the OL picked up the slack. It was after the Super Bowl…according to Marv’s book, Polian and Ralph agreed to part ways earlier in the year but he agreed to stay through the end of the season
  16. If I recall correctly, there was an article about this a few years ago in the D & C. it looks cool though the logo on the side of the house needs some work!
  17. This was the speculation by many but the team confirmed it as false.
  18. I don’t get how he signs with the Bills and then retires three weeks later
  19. It’s football…I didn’t have a problem with the hit or see it as dirty.
  20. Edmunds is exactly who we thought he was. A good player getting paid like an elite one.
  21. I will be there
  22. Everyone thinks the quickest fix is to fire the head coach… the answer to every team’s problems!
  23. The guy that beat “us” back-to-back years was Josh Allen. Losing to the Jets has been about Josh Allen making unforced errors that Zach Wilson playing well.
  24. Patriots drafted Christian Gonzales for this this matchup. Unfortunately for NE, Jonathan Jones is not playing on the other side. Belichick has a long reputation of “taking away the offense’s best weapon.” But I feel those days are gone. I think it’s possible he can slow down Miami’s offense but I think this is the game where Miami’s defense steps up
  25. I love the spin how different of QB Wilson is thanks to Rodgers. He looked like the same player as last season.
