  1. This isn’t true. They tried switching up and playing man coverage. Also tried blitzing. None of this worked. As the OP said the problem was the defensive line.
  2. It was all game script. They struggled running early and by the 3rd quarter they needed to score fast. The probably could bag e attempted more runs though
  3. Im going to go with the brilliant logic that many have fans have shared online since Sunday - “If the Rams scored 44, how many will the Lions score?!?!!!? Well since the Lions are twice as good on offense I’ll say they score 88. Lions 88 Bills 42
  4. I work as a manager. I want to hire someone to manage people so I can focus on the other aspects of my job.
  5. I think they all liked the play. Dan Orlovsky did a good job explaining the mindset. They called the play with a best chance at working. The Bills were 17-20 on QB sneaks prior to that plays. They could have tried passing but they also risk a sack or a Russell Wilson INT. The bigger problem was taking the timeout right after the play. It would have burned time but what they lost on the clock would be less valuable than the TO But even if they did score on the sneak and they kick with 3 TO’s, Rams are going to play it differently than they did. How many chances did the defense have to get them off the field in the 4th quarter? With the way the game was unfolding I think McVay finds a play to close out the game
  6. Fans always had been exaggerating the fallout from the 2 point loss to an NFC road opponent. The Bills are fighting for home field… I get it. But KC could very well end up 16-1. IMO the worst thing for the Bills would be to coast to easy wins the rest of the reason. I’m glad they’ll be playing Detroit right after the loss to the Rams. Both teams are a similar offense that the Bills have trouble with. Seeing them again should help. The defense probably can’t play it any worse
  7. These were all good games… but I don’t think when the average NFL fans looks back they regard any of these of these choices as the game of the year.
  8. I see Brady as Bobby Slowik last season. He’ll get an interview or two but I think it’s a year too early for him. Hopefully Brady follows up with a better year than Slowik. He’s not getting any HC jobs this season.
  9. I feel that this is the consensus among most fans. The problem a lot of us have is that there’s inconsistency between the mom and dad’s account and the media coverage isn’t doing anything to get answers. One report said that the family did speak to Erie County Police but that “no report was filed.” It would have been nice for the reporter to ask why report was filed. I tend to agree with you, and that this incident was not anything they could press charges for.
  10. No, I mostly agree with you and I think it could be possible, but I’m not sure if it went down the way that it was originally presented Sunday when the story caught fire. As you can tell by the reporting, the story did change between the mother and father‘s account. And hypothetically, if you wanted to protect your daughter from a targeted attack, why wouldn’t you file a police report after? It doesn’t seem like the father was mad at the “shover” as much as he was at Bills security. The saddest part in all of this is that the little girl who battled cancer ended up having a bad time at an event she was exited to attend. I’d also argue that part of the problem was the location where she was sitting in. The group that she worked with should have put the family in a suite or in an area better suited for families. I would be surprised if the Bills don’t make this happen in the future. Sadly it probably won’t be against SF anytime soon, as I don’t think they are on the schedule next season.
  11. It’s so hard to tell because the father’s account in the news was different from the mother’s Facebook post on Sunday night which is what most people reported on. If they were targeted why didn’t they file a police report - especially when the incident involved yours 8 year-old child?
  12. As much as I’d love to believe this, I don’t put much stock in NFL Rumors accounts. They’ve been proven to be wrong over and over again. The people running those accounts either make up news or don’t go through the regular vetting process an NFL Insider does. With that being said, “soft” or not, Miami is stuck with McDaniel. He’s not even done with his original contract. So if Miami was to fire him they not only eat the final year of his original 2022 deal but also pay him the entire value of his 4-year extension which doesn’t even begin until after 2025. Almost the same situation as Dick Jauron in 2008. That happens when you jump the gun on a coach’s extension
  13. It is odd how Brown is the white knight in this situation. I’m surprised no sports anchors were like “uh, have you seen some of the things AB has posted over the past two years.”
  14. I know someone who brought their 10 and 8 year-olds to the game and warned them about language. They started counting the number of “swear words” and there we so many they lost track in the 20’s LOL. It sounds like the family got the tix from Hope Rises which is the nonprofit charity owned by Channel 4 reporter Kate Glaser. I too am surprised that they didn’t get them seats in the family section. Hopefully the charity knows what we all do - the 300 section of a prime time game is probably not an appropriate setting for a family.
  15. Where is dad posting this? The mom’s account made this seem that it was a targeted attack
  16. It sounds like it was an accident. I’m sure the parents are upset because this all could have been avoided.
  17. Here is the follow up story from Channel 4. The incident went down as many of us had speculated. A drunk fan tried shoving his way past a family of 49ers fans and in the process the little girl was shoved and slipped against a chair is the aisle. While the fan was rude and impatient and the situation could have (and should have) been avoided, it sounds like it was unintentional. Channel 4 should have presented this a little more accurately. But the girl and her dad seem very kind and after what they’ve gone through, they certainly deserve a nice experience at the stadium as well as every donation dollar that’s coming in. In the end it seems like some good will come out of this bad experience for them.
  18. There was something up because he wasn’t getting on the field much the past few weeks either. He actually had better production in Carolina that he did in Baltimore LOL
  19. His worst commentary came when he tried to explain talked effect snow in Buffalo. By the end he was like “they have all of these counties around here.” How is that any different than any other state in the US? Also the second Josh scored on that hook-and-ladder TD he brought up Kelce and Mahomes. He is the worst
  20. I would tend to think along these lines as well. It sounds like someone bumped into the kid and they fell down the stairs. Reading the original tweet makes you think she was purposely shoved. I don’t think that person makes it out of the stadium if that was the case.
  21. I remember a story Tim Graham did in the past about throwing snow ball at players. Apparently security has cameras all around the stadium and every thing is recorded. So if anything happened between the times when fans are in the stadium like snowballs or fighting, they are able to find the incident and the parties involved.
  22. I get that but honestly the tape doesn’t lie. He was a non-factor in Buffalo. Also, it should be noted that the Bills cut MVS to make room for Amari Cooper. Are you saying you want MVS over Cooper? I don’t think anyone can argue that Cooper is an improvement. There was one ball in Miami where MVS was open deep and Josh misfired. Other than that, he was a non factor
  23. No wonder why the staff were draining my oil into the Grey Cup
  24. You might have gotten frost bite. Did they have to take you to the lots on a golf cart? I’ve always thought that too. Other fans laugh at the Bills for offering such a pithy wage. the only good thing about this are the comments on social media when the team asks for shovelers. Lots of “a billionaire can only pay $20 an hour?”
