He’s playing and has practiced effectively. The injury does not impact quick explosiveness like Vons. And his primary role is in run defense. I fully expect him to play well Sunday. This is very good news. My expectations are it’s going to help our ever improving DL with quality snaps.

Yes, you play for home field and the #2 seed. If that is out the window I would not be in favor of resting healthy players. I am not saying Josh is better but all these QBs to some degree are a function of where they land and with who. Josh on SF or the Rams ? Or the Bears.. all would have different outcomes or does he just just power through ?

I think the interesting narrative is if they were on the opposite teams. What would the current legacy of both be??? Josh with AR and Patty w McClappy? Think that’s a fun way to look at it. Patty had some wind at his back immediately🤷🏻‍♂️

5-10 .. he started about 77 or so. Joe Namath and Bradshaw have dreadful statistical data but in hall of fame. Again it’s been an evolution in what is now illegal in the NFL and the QBs are just better.

Agree 49% not normal and the average was maybe 54% .. but today average is around 63%.. so yes evolution from the 60’s. I won’t debate he was great and I’ll grant you that.

QB % completion rates and TD/Int ratios were dreadful years ago. DB’s could maul receivers and it was a different era of violence on QBs. Doug Williams had incredible talent and was a decent if not inconsistent QB of his era. He did lead TB to the playoffs as a starter and won a SB with the Skins. He want great but he wasn’t garbage. Maybe and I emphasize maybe a stronger arm than Josh Allen.
