One of the big problems is that the retailers actually promote this type of chaos. I've worked retail on Black Friday. You can control the line. Let them in 50 at a time and space them out. Ticket high demand items or let people shop areas in portions. That first video, the employees are laughing as they open the door. Everyone is so busy recording it instead of keeping things under control. On the flip side, and I know I'm going to take a beating for this, I wonder what the percentage of Trump voters were in those videos? The one woman said it best "All over some towels?"

I have a few friends pressuring me to watch it. I'm a comic nerd and liked the movie, but I like to binge. I'm going to wait for the season to end first. Also, I'm nervous with HBO after they cancelled Deadwood and Carnivale early. I can't get my heart broken again

2019 Playoffs. 1st round
Virgil replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can you update the main page with current week rooting interests. I'm too lazy to hunt through this. I've seen where we should be rooting for Cleveland to beat Pittsburg, but I would think it should be the other way around as we can still play and beat Pitt. However, if Cleveland loses just one more game, they are pretty much done so... The AFC South is the tough one for me. Do we want one team to just run away with it or them to keep beating each other up? How is Cleveland eliminated with 7 wins? We could still go 9-7 and they'd have the tie-breaker over us? Personally, I think I'd rather see Oakland win that division as I don't want to play the Wildcard game in KC. Ultimately, I want out playoff path to go through the AFC South, then the Pats, then home against the 6 seed ? If you want, I can post links to some very Billsy losses and Pats Super-Bowl wins. I'll sober you up real quick. You want some of that Stevie endzone drop? Maybe some McKelvin fumble? I can keep it recent with some Hausch misses. I got you -
The biggest advantage in the Ravens offense, outside of just Lamar, is that all defenders first step is forward on every snap because you assume the run first. This leaves the receivers in 1 on 1 coverage or allows the TE's to slip out in coverage. With that, I think you play hard zones and allow the short yardage. You have Milano and Edmunds play zone, 5 yards back, within the Tackles and Guards. Let them get those free first yards, but don't commit to the play until you absolute know where it's going. You run heavy on the line, playing solid gap defense. Don't let them create confusion. The challenge then is how you handle the pulling guards and backfield blockers who lead the way. That's where gap integrity is key, as well as the play of the safeties. Hyde should be playing in the box for most of the game, with Poyer covering deep. If you have a gap controlled front 3, 7 in zoned out within 3-7 yards, you keep them to short plays. Eventually, you'll get stops. Honestly, we run more of a 3-4 style defense with Phillips in the middle, Oliver as an End, and Shaq on the other End. The speed of Edmunds and Milano are key

A Few Thoughts about the Cowboys Game, in no particular order

That may get sent to a certain Cowboys friend of mine -
Do the "look at me" actions of Shaq and Oliver bother you?

Don’t worry, he goes back and edits them so they come off better -

Again, I have no issue with showing emotion or celebrating. But why can you not do it without being derogatory to the other team? Why is it one in the same? I’ve seen Allen celebrate on the field plenty without mocking other players or taunting fans. I think it’s corny because it’s been done so many times. -

Who said they condone that either? I think our fans that hurt themselves are idiots. The ***** thing is comedy gold. -

You do make a compelling argument ? If it were against the Pats, I’d probably support them dragging Brady around the stadium Achilles style Are you challenging me?! I’ll add chapters to the next thoughts. It’ll get real. ? -

Call me old (again) or crazy to want my athletes to act in a way I’d want my kid to act on the field. You can celebrate, have fun, get hyped, and whatever else passionately without being disrespectful. But again, I’m old and frail so... -

please re-read what I wrote. I didn’t say I have a problem with celebrating. I said I don’t like mocking other teams or their fans. -

I’ll be honest, yes. I didn’t like waiving goodbye to the Cowboys fans. I didn’t like Tre dance-mocking Dak. I didn’t like the comments about saying Dak shouldn’t get paid. We’ve accomplished nothing yet and are coming off 20 years where we were always on the other side of things. I understand celebrating and having fun, but you can do it without disrespecting the other team and their fans. I know we haven’t been here before, but act like it.- 269 replies

I agree. I was saying that I had visions of us losing the Cowboys game at the end by 3 or less at the time he had his first miss -

Let them keep underestimating us. The players have said they notice and it motivates them. -

I think all of those audibles on the last drive were just window dressing honestly. We were just running down the clock. I’m sure if he saw a specific blocking assignment, he’d call it out. But they were running regardless. -
