  1. Feels good not having to worry about us picking Claypool anymore
  2. Neal and Marlowe it literally says that in the first tweet
  3. I'd bet my house that they were scouting him as a potential 2021 replacement for Poyer before we extended him.
  4. Call me crazy, but I can't picture McBeane spending a Day 2 pick in the draft upgrading a positon (where we already have a decent player) that only plays around 20% of the snaps on defense.
  5. DE - We have 3 decent (albeit old) NFL starters and a great special teamer OT - We have a good LT, a young RT who improved a lot last year, a good swing tackle in Nsekhe, and another potentially good RT in Williams if he returns to form somewhat LB - We have 2 amazing young players, a solid veteran starter and good depth (assuming Vosean doesn't completely suck) I'd love it if we could add some high upside youth at DE, but I definitely wouldn't consider that a pressing need. We could come away from this draft without a single DE, OT or LB and I'd be completely fine with it.
  6. It's crazy that we dont have any glaring needs for the first time in forever, and people still want us to draft certain positions and not others regardless of who's available.
  7. I'm gonna counter your hot take with my own hot take. Chase Claypool doesn't get drafted until Saturday
  8. He's awfully low on Gladney (42) and Fulton (43). If either of them actually slid down into the 40s, I'd love to see us move up from 54 to get them.
  9. Gibson is 6'0" and Shenault is 6'1" (I'm assuming that's the "other" guy you're talking about), why are you talking about the lack of 6'2" running backs in the league?
  10. Just give me Michael Ojemudia in the 3rd or 4th round and I'll be happy.
  11. This has probably already been linked somewhere here before but I thought I'd add it just in case. From April 3rd. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2884704-matt-millers-scouting-notebook-latest-2020-draft-rumors-for-every-nfl-team.amp.html
  12. Yeah taking a 6'5" 262lb edge rusher, who took plenty of snaps with his hand in the dirt, and playing him as an off the ball linebacker sounds like a great idea.
  13. This thread is giving me cancer. We have 0 glaring holes and are better set up to draft for talent over need than we've ever been. Yet most of you guys still argue over which positions we "need" to draft earlier than others and which positions you want us to draft in certain rounds, regardless of which players are actually available when we pick.
  14. I don't think I'd its likely but it's certainly well within the realm of possibility. Plenty of good players slide further than expected every year, and I dont see why Diggs couldn't be one of them.
  15. Needing to add depth doesn't mean we're bad at running the ball. Saying "nice try" doesn't make you sound intelligent btw, it makes you sound like a smug prick.
  16. On the second one, their LG also got away with an egregious hold on Oliver after the delay of game wasn't called.
  17. Allen didn't "lead the rushing attack", he had 510 yards and 4.7 YPC (mostly on scrambles) compared to Singletarys 775 yards and 5.1 ypc. Those 2 returning players together averaged 4.94 YPC, which would've been 4th in the league. If you're gonna ignore the fact that Gore torpedoed our team YPC last season then at least use Allen's 2019 numbers and not his 2018 numbers.
  18. Or maybe they used their critical thinking skills to realize we're already good at running the ball and we already play good defense and have nothing to show for it.
  19. On twitter he's most well known for his terrible QB takes (see below) and blocking anyone who disagrees him. He's also been clutching to his pre-draft evaluation of Allen harder than anyone else I've seen. Just within the last month he has said that Allen's 2nd year was "a complete disaster" and that Allen is "the worst passer I've ever watched". He doesn't even try to hide his hate for Allen or come off as unbiased. He also called Mariota an "emerging stud" and said he was a top 10 QB heading into this past season. He's legitimately one the dumbest sports writers I've ever seen.
  20. I think you meant to say 5 former Bills. We can't forget about Buffalo Bills legend Antonio Brown.
  21. He's definitely one of my favorites as well. Beane said he wants to add touchdown makers and who can turn handoffs and short passe into house calls and Gibson is exactly that.
  22. Michael Ojumedia (CB, Iowa) is my favorite sleeper. A big (6'1 200lb), athletic (4.45 forty, 36" vert, 6.87 3-cone) and physical corner who tackles well against the run. He excelled in zone coverage at Iowa and has the physical traits needed to improve his man coverage skills. Most mocks I see have him going in the 4th round. https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/michael-ojemudia
