Lots of accomplishments under McClappy and Beano..playoffs first year, excellent calculated moves to get a franchise qb, solid roster building thru good drafting, smart FA moves, resigning own pending FAs, positive team culture, etc but winning a big game on the road, esp the playoffs is missing.... at Jax - the Tyrod Taylor no touchdown game at Hou - second-half lead blown, do I say choked-away in OT at KC - AFC championship game - not competitive regular season wins at Ten, Pit, NE, Dallas (Thanksgiving) and LV over the years are fine and dandy, but the next step has to be winning a big game on the road, that piece of the championship puzzle is missing...

would like to see run production to make play-action more effective to help with the passing, and eating the clock with long-time consuming drives is one way to control the KC offense...adding Sanders to the gameplan is great as well so a more balanced passing attack than the last time we played as we seemed lost when Diggs wasnt having his way... defense...well an organic pass-rush from the front-four with some delayed second-wave blitzing...and keep the running game under control

good move for the Bears, Fields gives them a modern qb; RPO, scramble, excites the fanbase,etc and they can always revert back to Dalton and the subsequent mediocrity

true dat and if that rb ever stays healthy they could surprise and make the playoffs..they have drafted well with some shrewd trades like this one and Darnold as well

its our third chance to get the gameplan right in about a year in the regular season game the chefs ran wild - Star is back and hopefully Milano is healthy and no matter the run game the pass rush needs to be there from the front four with some delayed blitzes to catch Mahomes scrambling (see Ravens game two weeks ago)... Could our best defense also be ball control O as the Chefs D is woeful thus far I also think the team to man and a coach is taking this one very personally...they need this one for their psyche..

espn was king as a disruptor to the traditional networks back in the 1990s and into the early 2000s....Berman, and those unique personalities like Stuart Scott (RIP), sportscenter, all that sports programming that we were staving for decades over, then it became the hunted and had to cut costs, salaries just like everyone else...and has to constantly re-invent itself to compete...to each their own for what you want for news, sports, entertainment...

also when the Ravens beat the Chefs two weeks ago, they delayed some blitzes as Mahomes is very effective with feeling the first wave of pressure, avoiding it, and throwing on the move, a key play was made on a delayed blitz leading to a pick on the play, I know McD loves his delayed blitzes as well, here's to a better pass rush and overall better gameplan and most important better execution than the last 2-3 times...

this big game will soon be over and the Pats may very well be 1-3 which is the best part of all..and we get them twice as well...would love another sweep and be the nail their coffin of a loosing season and missing the playoffs...

sad that football and hockey at the collegiate level were mostly inferior programs for decades across WNY (other than the frozen four)...that is another topic for another day...
