I disagree. Not exactly who I want, but he is an upgrade over Tyrod. He at least scans the field and throws an accurate ball. Actually throws to receivers instead of dump offs or throwing over their heads. I think they would still draft a QB like White or Rudolph in this scenario.

Signing Cousins and grooming Peterman (who has a similar skill set) would be our best option.

I think they planned on being able to draft in the top 5 this year, without having to trade up. I don't think they anticipated both teams (Buffalo & KC) to be playoff teams. I think they were banking on one of them being a top 5 pick. If that was their thinking, then I think we will see them trade one of their 1st round picks, for a second and next years # 1, and try again next year. I don't see them trading up high enough to get a pick. My guess is they trade down with one of the 1st, and then take a QB in the second or third (wherever they see value).

Yes it is. I was thinking that I would try a different approach, and accumulate more 2nd and 3rd picks. My first thought was to trade up to #1, and give up 21, 22, 2nd round pick, 4th roun pick, plus next year's number 1 to draft Darnold.........that's likely what it would take. Any chance we could trade down with both of our firsts and pick up 2 extra second round picks and the trading teams 1st round pick next year? What could we realistically get if we trade both of our firsts? Maybe we'd be better off with 2 extra seconds and 2 extra thirds (assuming we can't get the other teams future first)?

Yes. I totally understand that and agree. I expected someone to respond with this. But, I watched EVERY Bills game that Tyrod Taylor played in, and this clip is just a brief glimpse of the awfulness that I saw from him every week.

I love these kinds of rumors. Maybe Shannahan made a promise to Cousins before leaving? Maybe he doesn't like Jimmy G? They get the QB they want plus some extras? Ha ha. No way this is happening.

I would only trade up to 1 or 2. Darnold and Rosen are the only 2 worth trading up for.

Good QB play can make a lot of ideas look correct. I wouldn't consider any of this factual, unless you have a good QB in place. Take the Eagles current roster and put Tyrod Taylor and Nathan Peterman in the places of Wentz and Foles and see how this plan works.

Was it reported last year that the Bills considered moving up last year for Mitchell Trubisky? I don't remember reading that. It seems we all have kind of written off Josh Rosen, but in reality, he is the best prospect in the QB Draft class. The only questions seem to be his desire to play in the NFL. Is that real? Not sure. He is though, one of the only rookie QBs that would step in day 1 and be a starter, and not a work in progress like the other ones. What would it take to get to #2, IF the Giants were willing to trade down?
