I think if McDermott and Beane get a chance to talk with Cousins they will sign him. All 3 guys have similar personalities. I don't see that same similarity with Elway, who I think is the strongest competition. Here's some 17-18 highlights.

I hope there isn't even one Bills fan that doesn't want Kirk Cousins. It would be awesome to see a QB find his wide open receivers instead of dumping it off to a FB. To you draft guys....... Who is a better prospect for Dabol's offense? Who is a better fit for McDermott's Bills? I don't think the Bills trade up, but I think they select 1 of these guys, and sign a vet QB. 1. Mason Rudolph. 2. Mike White. 3. Kyle Lauletta.

I didn't mean that would be the reason to pick him. Just an observation. I think he's much better than Tyrod and has the potential to be a franchise QB. I don't think he lasts past round 1 and think Arizona at 15 could take him. Wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers trade up for him, or if New England takes him. If they target him as their top guy or franchise type potential, move up and get him to make sure you get him. Don't let the next Roethlisberger or Brady go to someone else. He's my first pick. I'm sure I will get lots of slack for this.

Unless they get a vet via FA or trade. Getting a quality vet QB (Cousins, Smith) + Barkley would get them on the right track. Then get a QB in round 2, if they are not happy developing Kizer. It would be the same strategy the Chargers used when they got Tomlinson in 1 and Brees in 2.

Didn't see Dave's post about Barkley going 1 before I posted. If they felt good about 3 of the QBs, then why would it be insane? Maybe they think Barkley is a sure bet, and they could possibly get a vet like Cousins or trade for one like Alex Smith.

Why wouldn't Cleveland take Barkley at #1 and then get a QB at #4?
