  1. I think he's the pick. There's no way he is worse than Tyrod.
  2. Just curious Savior, but do you also go by the name Wally (from another board)?
  3. I honestly want Mason Rudolph. I don't understand why no one wants him. He has similar traits to what Brady had coming out of Michigan. I'm confident Dabol could work with him.
  4. The move up to 10 would require a similar package as the Chiefs-Bills trade last year. Would you do this for Baker Mayfield?: Chiefs get #10 pick (1st). Bills get # 27 pick (1st), #91 pick (3rd) and their first-round pick in 2018.
  5. I don't know. Looks better than anyone we've had in a while. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/0ap3000000910273/Josh-Allen-practice-highlights-Senior-Bowl-Day-2
  6. I'm getting the feeling Mason Rudolph QB is the Bills 1st pick. Seems similar to how they looked at Brady in the draft. Dabol should be able to see the similarities, if they are there. I'm obviously not a scout, but to me, there are similarities. Thoughts? Found the below on an old ign post: Tom Brady Positives: Good height to see the field. Very poised and composed. Smart and alert. Can read coverages. Good accuracy and touch. Produces in big spots and in big games. Has some Brian Griese in him and is a gamer. Generally plays within himself. Team leader. Negatives: Poor build. Very skinny and narrow. Ended the '99 season weighing 195 pounds and still looks like a rail at 211. Looks a little frail and lacks great physical stature and strength. Can get pushed down more easily than you'd like. Lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush. Lacks a really strong arm. Can't drive the ball down the field and does not throw a really tight spiral. System-type player who can get exposed if he must ad-lib and do things on his own. Summary: Is not what you're looking for in terms of physical stature, strength, arm strength and mobility, but he has the intangibles and production and showed great Griese-like improvement as a senior. Could make it in the right system but will not be for everyone.
  7. Where is DaeShawn Hamilton expected to go? First round?
  8. Surely he is as tall as Wilson (5'11") and Brees (6'0") right? Any chance he's 5'10? He sure looks really short.
  9. I like Vita Vea a lot, but it looks like we are not going to get close to him. Roquon Smith may fall, looking at this. What are your thoughts on these guys. Seems like they would fit the mold McBeane is looking for, and could all be had with a trade down to maybe get another 2nd or 3rd pick. Leighton Vander Esch, LB, Boise State – Rank 40 Vander Esch is a long, instinctive and fast inside linebacker. Against the run, he's quick to key/read and aggressively shoot gaps. He does a good job sorting through the trash to find the ball. He flashes the ability to pop/separate from blockers, but at times, he's too narrow and gets washed out. He has outstanding speed/range. He's a highly productive tackler, but also produces a couple fly-by missed tackles in every game. He has ideal size/speed to mirror tight ends in coverage and he's a productive blitzer. Vander Esch was one of the most productive players in the country this past season and should be an immediate starter at the next level. Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State – Rank 41 Hubbard has ideal size and he was very productive for the Buckeyes. As a pass rusher, he has an average get-off, but he has an array of hand moves and power. He has experimented with a spin move, but that is still a work in progress. He's very effective when he's used as a looper and allowed to rush against offensive guards. His effort is outstanding and he's a good finisher despite some ankle stiffness. He's very strong at the point of attack in the run game. He also uses his quickness and effort to make plays from the back side. I see Hubbard as an ideal 4-3 left defensive end. If he adds some weight, he would also fit as a DE for teams that employ three-man fronts. Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville – Rank 43 Jackson has been the most dynamic playmaker in college football for the last two seasons, operating out of the shotgun in the Cardinals' offense. He has a lean, narrow frame. He has quick feet in his setup and he bounces on his toes once he gets to the top of his drop. He throws with a very narrow base. He generates tremendous velocity despite flipping the ball and failing to generate any power or torque from his lower half. He's more accurate/consistent on in-breaking routes and over-the-top touch throws. His accuracy suffers when he has to drive the ball outside the numbers. He is too stiff on his front leg and the ball sails on him. His pocket presence has improved over the last year and he excels avoiding unblocked rushers. He's the most electric runner at the position to enter the NFL in the last decade. On designed QB runs, he's very elusive and slithery. Overall, Jackson needs time to work out some mechanical issues, but his playmaking ability is special.
  10. Deon Sanders thinks he will be a star. http://www.ajc.com/sports/college/deion-sanders-lamar-jackson-best-college-and-others-can-compare/Wt2Q2FMYXdXiCHaeyQoj4L/
  11. Isn't Arizona still a possibility?
  12. Not trying to be a prick, but I read this 10 times and I still don't know what you're trying to say.
  13. OK. It is my opinion that he took himself out because he was gassed.
  14. No. You didn't see himself on the sideline gassed and then came back in? I'm not biased. Hate both teams equally.
  15. Dareus took himself out because he's out of shape, not hurt. Glad the Pats won....it should be Buffalo that dethrones them.
  16. How would you feel about Daron Payne and Arden Key in this situation? Improved pass rush minimizes the need for another cb and improves on an area that needs it.
  17. If they take Jackson I will be excited, because I trust Beane and McDermott. If they like him, then I'll support it.
  18. Didn't paste like I wanted. You can delete if it's too big. PICK 1 Sam Darnold - QB, USC The Browns finally land their franchise signal-caller. PICK 2 Saquon Barkley - RB, Penn State I could easily see the Giants addressing the quarterback spot here, but instead they opt for the best player in the draft. PICK 3 Bradley Chubb - DE, N.C. State The Colts have several needs to address, but a premier pass rusher is at the top of the list. PICK 4 Minkah Fitzpatrick - DB, Alabama The Browns need more dynamic playmakers on both sides of the ball and Fitzpatrick is the best option available. PICK 5 Quenton Nelson - OG, Notre Dame I think the Broncos will address their quarterback need in free agency, which would free them up to take the best available player in this spot. Nelson is the best interior O-line prospect to enter the draft in a long time. PICK 6 Josh Rosen - QB, UCLA Rosen is ready to start right now and he would give the Jets a key building block on the offensive side of the ball. PICK 7 Marcus Davenport - DE, UTSA Davenport reminds me of Ziggy Ansah coming out of BYU, and the Bucs need to add some life to their pass rush. PICK 8 Denzel Ward - CB, Ohio State The Bears need some offensive firepower, but they can accomplish that in free agency and the middle portion of the draft. Ward lacks ideal size, but he's a dynamic playmaker with the tools to play inside or outside. PICK 9 Tremaine Edmunds - LB, Virginia Tech Edmunds is one of my favorite players in the draft. He has a rare blend of size, speed and athleticism. He would be a perfect complement to Reuben Foster at the second level of the49ers' defense. PICK 9 Roquan Smith - LB, Georgia Smith is a bit undersized, but he makes plays sideline to sideline and provides a physical presence in the middle of the field. PICK 11 Josh Allen - QB, Wyoming This would be a bit of a surprise, but theDolphins can't continue to rely on Ryan Tannehill. PICK 12 Connor Williams - OT, Texas Williams saw his stock drop a little bit this fall, but I still believe he's the best offensive tackle in the draft class. PICK 13 Baker Mayfield - QB, Oklahoma The Redskins have a big decision to make withKirk Cousins. If they decided to move on from him, Mayfield would be a perfect fit in this system. PICK 14 Mike Hughes - CB, UCF Hughes has outstanding fluidity and ball skills. His upside is very enticing. PICK 15 Vita Vea - DT, Washington This isn't a pressing need for the Cardinals, but in this scenario, Vea is just too good to pass up. PICK 16 Orlando Brown - OT, Oklahoma The Ravens need to address the wide receiver position, but they have a good track record of filling that void with veteran players in free agency. Brown would immediately start at right tackle for Baltimore, just like his father did a little more than a decade ago. PICK 17 Derwin James - S, Florida State James was made to play in Gus Bradley's defenses. He's a more explosive version of Kam Chancellor. PICK 18 Isaiah Oliver - CB, Colorado Oliver has excellent size and speed. He can locate and play the ball down the field. TheSeahawks are likely headed toward a rebuild in the secondary. PICK 19 Maurice Hurst - DT, Michigan Hurst has an explosive first step and he'd excel playing the 3-technique for Rod Marinelli. PICK 20 Billy Price - C/OG, Ohio State Price can play any of the three interior positions and his nasty demeanor fits with what GM Bob Quinn is building in Detroit. PICK 21 Da'Ron Payne - DT, Alabama The Bills traded away Marcell Dareus in the fall and they need to add another difference-maker to their defensive front. PICK 22 Josh Jackson - CB, Iowa There is some concern about Jackson's deep speed, but he has the best ball skills in the entire draft class. PICK 23 Isaiah Wynn - OG, Georgia Wynn was an undersized offensive tackle at Georgia, but I believe he has Pro Bowl potential as an interior offensive lineman. PICK 24 Calvin Ridley - WR, Alabama The Panthers continue their recent trend and add another explosive weapon for Cam Newton. PICK 25 James Daniels - C/OG, Iowa Daniels is the best center prospect in the draft and I believe he could play guard if needed. I think you will see his stock soar over the next few months. PICK 26 Harrison Phillips - DT, Stanford Phillips has outstanding power and I believe he's an underrated athlete. He dominates against the run. PICK 27 Christian Kirk - WR, Texas A&M I'd love to see Kirk line up and play in this offense with Drew Brees. He's the most polished wideout in the draft. PICK 28 Donte Jackson - CB, LSU I wouldn't be shocked if the Steelers took a running back like Derrius Guice or Ronald Jones here, but I have them landing a very talented cornerback instead. Jackson has inside/outside flexibility and he might be the fastest player in the entire draft. PICK 29 Hayden Hurst - TE, South Carolina The Jaguars need to add another tight end and I love both Hurst and South Dakota State's Dallas Goedert. Either option would be a nice fit. PICK 30 Rashaan Evans - LB, Alabama The Eagles love explosive defenders who play with an edge. Evans fits that profile. PICK 31 Mike McGlinchey - OT, Notre Dame The Patriots could lose Nate Solder in free agency. McGlinchey could step right in and take his place. PICK 32 Arden Key - DE, LSU Key could drop because of some off-field issues as well as an inconsistent fall. However, his upside is outrageous and Mike Zimmer would be the right coach to help him reach that level.
  19. Is this real? https://247sports.com/Board/30/Contents/Mike-Vrabel-beat-up-Urban-Meyer-26764616
  20. Just scary when we are coming off how many years of horrid QB play? I want a sure bet. Daboll is probably the best place though for Lamar Jackson.
  21. What about this guy? Just had am awesome TD. Nic Shimonek, QB, Texas Tech Height: 6-3. Weight: 225. Projected 40 Time: 4.81. Projected Round (2018): 6-FA. 1/11/18: Shimonek was the Red Raiders' replacement for Pat Mahomes in 2017, and Shimonek had a quality year beating up on a conference that lacks defense. Some sources feel that Shimonek has real arm talent and is a prospect for the NFL. In 2017, Shimonek completed 67 percent of his passes for 3,963 yards with 33 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
  22. I'm very intrigued with Jackson. The guy is electric. However, I am concerned about this: Completion %: 2015….. 54.7 2016..... 56.2 2017..... 59.1 College career average... 57.0
  23. A good quarterback? We haven't seen good QB play in forever.
  24. Has anyone ever seen what it really looks like from the pocket for guys like Mayfield, Flutie, Tyrod Taylor? I'm curious to see what they see, when they are short QBs behind massive o-linemen.
