  1. Rest In peace, John from Riverside. I really appreciate that you take the time to do this and update us, @SDS. I have been coming to this website for 20 years, posting only 4 but I feel it's become a real place for me, a real community. Thanks.
  2. I deep fried a Turkey twice and once cooked it over charcoal on a Weber kettle. That coal fired bird was so so good, best one I ever did until I baked a wild hunted turkey in the regular old oven. Nothing like standing in the driveway drinking a beer while snow falls into a deep frying turkey tho!
  3. Having friends who love to eat over to watch the game Man Miami has some great Peruvian and Cuban food, so I was thinking: Tu(n)a ceviche with tortilla chips Fried garlic shrimp Cuban style on sub rolls with garlic mayo Beans and rice with beef stew (ropa vieja) Lotta cold beer with lime and ice Mexican style (chelada)
  4. Me neither. But I’m trying to imagine… I guess being hammered probably contributed. Sad rifts can start in such bathetic ways.
  5. Yikes. Was that where THE beef started?
  6. He did play three and a half great seasons for us, and was very cool to kids which counts for a lot to me. Don’t forget he played great the first half of last season. Watch last year’s Miami game to see how great. Bummer for him but football is like that. He may mature a bit not being the invulnerable superstar.
  7. Can I do this but then bake in a regular over? PS thanks for posting
  8. Sushi for breakfast? 1pm is not too late With some Miso Soup Josh likes some sushi Try some Dolphin liver raw Just caught at Highmark
  9. We had it! I’m still pissed.
  10. He's becoming a dependable every-play weapon. It's amazing. What is also great is it won't be so easy to shut him down in the playoffs, when top defenses are holding every play. He is too big and plays too strong.
  11. It was much less common back in the nineties. We didn’t know how to get tickets as easily without the internet, but I did road trip to a couple games back then. Also the Super Bowl in 1994 at the Georgia Dome. Dammit.
  12. If we’re up 31-3 and out in our backups, and they give up three touchdowns and don’t score in the fourth quarter, we get credit for a “close” victory
  13. The cool thing is that so many guys are just playing solid, hungry, great football. This is an awesome team. It's so great especially with the bad/weird vibes that lasted arguably from Thanksgiving 2022 (Von's knee) to Hamlin's collapse all the way through last year.
  14. Would love to win most of these. But I'm not sure how important our record is as long as we are in the playoffs. Last year showed home field wasn't the issue with us and KC. I'd rather go 10-7 but hit the playoffs at full strength than 14-3 with three or four starters hurt.
  15. We caught a bunch of porgies this summer off Cape Cod. We grilled a bunch, and made a ceviche with the others the same day, just lime and orange juice, chopped onion, cilantro and the sliced fish. It was really superb. No aging necessary. But I think bluefin tuna is a whole different animal.
  16. Kuni's needs to host a private Bills night soon... with the rookies picking up the tab. "I'll just have 18 orders of tuna belly, Keon!"
  17. I do agree with the OP that our backups should get more playing time when we are up, say, 31-3 in the third quarter. Why not let those guys get some reps, and protect our starters from getting pointless injuries in garbage time?
  18. I think most high end sushi is flown in even when the city is on the ocean. Bluefin tuna and wild salmon and horse mackerel aren’t just swimming off the shore of every coastal town. Shrimp are frozen on the boat and trucked in.
  19. Kuni’s on Lexington and Ashland is not bad, Josh! And The Place, across the street, is a good place for a beer or a Jameson.
  20. In these situations we should take all the starters out, not just Josh. Get some reps for the backups and don’t risk any more injuries.
  21. Josh wanted the long play action shot to Cooper!
  22. Finally a flag on them for holding!!
  23. Uh I like Tom Brady now he knows our team better than any announcer we’ve had this year
  24. This is one weird game. I like it!
