  1. Burrows? Hebert? do they factor in?
  2. Bills coaches seem to disagree with you. Neither last year or this year have the coaches used him extensively.
  3. He is a functional RB. Definitely NFL level. No team in the NFL needs to modify their defensive game plan to account for Singletary. Nor Moss. From a team perspective that is not necessarily a bad thing. NFL teams don't worry too much about the Patriots, Seahawks, Green Bay or Baltimore running backs. Teams that rely on their running attacks much more than the Bills are right now, generally have RBs that are teams need to specifically worry about. Singletary/Moss are very generic NFL RBs. Also it is far easier to have a high yard per carry on ten carries than it is on 20 or 25, generally speaking.
  4. The best thing about the Josh Allen bandwagon, is that it huge and can fit everyone who wants to get on board.
  5. I am surprised. But when I compare our RBs to the top 20 or so RBs in the league, I realized it is a huge weak spot on the team. So I am no longer suprised.
  6. The NFL should move all games to prime time, 7 days a week. If it is only on TV, why not.
  7. Since Allen's first pre-season game as a rookie, I have been banging the drums that he will be incredible.
  8. This will hurt forever. But Josh is helping ease the pain.
  9. Based on age, current ability level and potential improvement, the only QB in the league I might rather have as a Bill is Patrick Mahomes. Allen and Mahomes are far and away the two most exciting players in the league to watch. Both seem to have their heads screwed on straight as well. Jackson's numbers are irrefuatble, but for no particular reason I feel as though he has peaked and is as likely to decline as much as he is to improve.
  10. Browns defense struggling with rookie QB, without preseson eperience.
  11. 71.7% and 104.6 Passer Rating on 46 passing attempts This is not a step. This is the destination. Allen has arrived. He is an NFL Franchise QB. He is the Bills' Franchise QB. All NFL players are evaluated constantly by there front offices. Josh will be like anyone else (including Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes), but for the moment Allen's position with the Bills for the future is as stable as an NFL QBs future can be.
  12. Updated to remove YAC from QB stats:
  13. See my post from about 1 hour before yours. Not the original post.
  14. This would be a better stat if yards after catch are removed. Maybe I will do that later.
  15. You may have identified the reason Allen had to carry the offense. Does not change the fact that he is carrying the offense.
  16. In week 1, 91 % of the Bills offense ran through Josh Allen In comparison 84% ran through Lamar Jackson, 79% through Kyler Murray. Russell Wilson was 91.6% Allen Passing plus rushing = 369 Bills total = 404 369/404 = 91.3% Jackson 320/377 = 84.8% Murray 321/404 = 79.4% Wilson 351/383 = 91.6%
  17. I don't live in NY. Not sure I have any reason to think NY decision makers are smarter than MO. decision makers. Seems like different states have different opinions on the balance of freedom/liberty/safety. Not sure any one opinion on that balance is the "correct" one.
  18. don't confuse discussions with facts
  19. Did the legislature pass a law? Or is this an executive fiat?
  20. Kudos to CBS/NFL for the crowd noise added to the broadcast. It was really well done. If you did not know it was fake, one might not even notice. But I think there is a better solution. Put an Alexa speaker (or google assistant or other similar device) on each seat, and let fans "rent" one for the game. An app to play the actual fans screaming in their living rooms would be fun. Players could actually pump up the fans.
  21. Josh Allen is the fullback.
  22. Great News though.
