  1. Power move by the Jets They are going to put a ton of pressure on everyone, including Josh
  2. I'll say this...Gabe Davis was made by Josh Allen, and I don't think he will be missed at all. Samuel, Hollins, and whoever else we draft is a massive improvement to our receiving group. The defense will mostly depend on if Von can be a force rushing the QB. The safety position will likely get at least one guy in the draft to compete with the current group...so while I do have concerns about the safeties and the lack of speed in our secondary, I think they should be about the same as last season. We need to get a WR and Safety that can play in this draft, and we need OL and DL prospects to groom for the future
  3. If you have a Center that appears to be a once in ten year prospect that is absolutely dominant, then yes...go ahead and draft one in the first This isn't the case, and you don't use a first rounder on a center otherwise I'd rather see a trade back if your going that route
  4. I like this kid Would be a great get. High upside player that's still not hit his ceiling
  5. People need to watch more of Samuel because he does get behind the defense for big plays on occasion. He's definitely more than a slot guy. I think his ability to make things happen after the catch has led to him being targeted more quickly which in turn has kept his YPC low, but the ability to make plays downfield is there.
  6. Davis could never get on the same page as Allen, and it led to key drops and turnovers. We want guys who can catch the ball, and we signed two of them. One a huge target, and the other is very good when he gets the ball in his hands. People complain no matter what. Allen needs help, but you get some and it's just more bitching and moaning
  7. If MHJ makes it to the Giants at six, I'm offering this year's first and second, along with next year's first and third to try and trade up
  8. There's really nothing about Hollins that indicates that he won't be a much better option than the guys we've brought in these past few seasons. His measurables are better than Davis', and he's shown to have better hands. And as you stated, he was in a terrible offense last season, but was pretty productive in the Raiders offense the prior year. A year where he helped Josh Jacobs lead the league in rushing and had 700 yards receiving and four TD's. He will have a much better QB and offense here than any other of his stops, so I like his chances to make an impact. He will be the number four receiver, and he will be involved in the offense.
  9. I honestly think Mack Hollins is a Gabe Davis level player, and that if Mack was opposite Diggs last season he would've put up similar numbers. I also would bet that he catches at least one of those two deep balls Sherfield dropped against KC, and maybe he catches them both. Dude is an upgrade on Sherfield, and is a big target with good hands to go along with similar speed and agility as Davis. That being said, I want and expect the Bills to draft either Keon Coleman or Xavier Legette and Hollins can battle for reps
  10. According to their forty times, Hollins was faster, so you could factually say we got bigger, faster and got someone with better hands than Davis in Hollins for 1/8th of the cost
  11. 6th best is simply your guess...it doesn't mean 5 will go before we pick, and it certainly doesn't mean the ones drated ahead will be better picks. And also...in a deep class, the sixth player drafted at his position might be a really good player. You're being a Debbie Downer when there are plenty of reasons to be positive and excited.
  12. If you think he's not starting a first or second round wideout over Mack Hollins, you're insane I'll wager anything you want on that
  13. He's not slow. Maybe watch some of his games if you don't know. The rest of your post is triggered person gibberish, so I won't waste time trying to point out how ridiculous you come across.
  14. Except he's not terrible. He fills two needs also being a capable blocking receiver and a ST guy. He's also shown reliable hands and has produced some decent numbers with lesser offenses with lesser QB's We wanted guys that can catch the football, and this guy does that pretty well. He's also a big target. Posters need to get a grip here and realize these are the moves we will be making this offseason due to our cap. You will get your WR in the first or second round...maybe both. Stop crying
  15. He's a bigger WR that can block...like Gabe was.
  16. He's Gabe Davis with better hands, but less big play ability Nothing wrong with this as a 4/5 WR
  17. He's a roster lock People that are upset with this signing don't understand how rosters work
  18. It would be a compliment if I said those posters were a Mack Hollins type on this board
  19. This is about the best I would expect for having no money to spend He's a solid vet that has some ability. Maybe Josh can get some more out of him than he's shown. Fine signing
  20. This is what happens when you have corrupt people in positions of power This country is loaded with them at the highest levels
  21. Gotta get younger as a team and spend less on the defensive line Floyd was never in this team's plans beyond last season
  22. You wanna keep paying big money to aging players? Get young through the draft
  23. His replacement will be drafted this upcoming draft so we can move off of him next season
  24. This contract was remarkably bad, and given our current cap woes, it's still quite terrible. This is one contract that we just really didn't need to hand out, and it really makes me pause on Brandon Beane more than anything else he's done
  25. Bills basically gave KC a free draft pick This after handing them Mahomes
