  1. Guys of his build just don't hold up He will be dangerous when available, but it's likely that he is often not available
  2. The next Tyreek Hill he is not Anyone who thinks this doesn't realize the difference between the two
  3. Let's be clear here...Worthy is no Tyreek Hill I wanted a deep threat to open up things, but there are other guys that can do what Worthy does We'll see if he holds up at the NFL level. History says these guys are continuously hurt, and he's as tiny as it gets
  4. I liked Worthy due to his elite speed that nobody in this draft comes close to, but I'm OK with the trade back Deep draft class, and there are numerous wideouts left that have alot of potential
  5. No big deal Plenty of wideouts available that are much more ready to contribute
  6. No pick is guaranteed to be a starter Picks are just more lottery tickets If you believe you can trade a few in for the best shot at the best prize, then maybe it's worth it. Not saying I am for it or against it, but I can see why a team might make the move
  7. Brian Thomas Jr is not a master of anything in terms of catching the football, but I digress. Legette is an AJ Brown type. He doesn't need to blow by guys because he's physical enough to win matchups. I see the pros and cons to both, but I think your a little bit blinded by Brian Thomas' splash plays, which were in many cases he was wide open
  8. Sounds like you have bought into the BTJ hype...which is laughable to me Both players have some serious question marks about their game, and the argument could be made that either is a better or worse choice than the other
  9. With our need for WR help, and this class being deep at the position, I would have no issue using both picks on receivers. Let McDermott work with some holes on his side of the ball for a change. It's his unit that has failed to get the job done when it matters most while having everything he asked for, so he should have to suck it up this season
  10. I have a similar view on him. I could be wrong, and I hope I am if the Bills draft him, but I see a kid that might not be built to be the guy at WR...which is what will be expected of him from the fans...especially if we trade up and use more draft capital on him than just pick 28. I actually would have been more inclined to draft him had we kept Diggs so he could be brought along slowly without major expectations in 2024. This kid will have an insane amount of pressure on him to perform out the gate, and Josh's prime will be dependent on him developing also. I just don't think it's a good move given the current state of this team.
  11. Jayden Daniels with Nabers drawing the best corner with safety help. The film shows alot of him being wide open or catching a screen pass that he turned into a big gainer. I will say this...he's an unknown...which means boom or bust. There's things he has in his favor, and things he has going against him. I could live with drafting him at 28, but I can't get on board with giving up a 2nd rounder to move up for him
  12. Trading up in this rich WR draft for a kid that is as raw as they come is a terrible move We need to infuse this team with more talent, and we need to give Josh someone to help him out immediately A trade up for Thomas II would take away precious draft capital, and he wouldn't be a reliable weapon until he develops
  13. He was able to utilize his athletic skills to beat defenses. He also had maybe the best QB coming out of college and Nabers opposite him to leave him one on one against the weaker DB. He has no route tree and suspect hands. He also hasn't shown much in terms of toughness either. NFL defenses will lock him up if he doesn't learn how to be a wideout. I'm not opposed to drafting him at 28, but he does not provide much help this upcoming season IMO unless he takes some major steps in development. I'll hope I'm wrong if the Bills select him because it would be criminal to waste another year of Allen's prime
  14. Worthy has explosiveness that nobody else has in this draft, and he will be gone early second at best. In a perfect world, we trade back and get Worthy and Coleman or Legette, but I'm fine taking him at 28. If you want Thomas II as your guy, you are giving Josh Allen little to no help for next season because he's not ready to play against NFL defenses, and he may never be.
  15. Just an awful move if the Bills trade up for not just a kid that isn't ready to be a major contributor next season, but also a player that could very well last up until their pick. There's absolutely no need to go up to 17 for this kid. He's not worth the trade up. If you are gonna do a trade up for BTJ, then you might as well go all in and trade up for one of the top three. I would stand pat and draft Worthy at 28 and hope for a trade back up in the second for Legette or Coleman to pair with Worthy
  16. I'm not a trade up for a WR guy, but I would do that before blowing picks and cap space to aquire Aiyuk or any other receiver that wants big money
  17. I voted for Worthy due to what I think is a lack of elite speed if we were to wait till the second round to select a WR I'd love to do a small trade back and hope he's still there early second round, but I'm not chancing it. Take Worthy and get one of Legette, Coleman, or Franklin in the second by whatever means necessary
  18. They didn't move up in the draft and devote major ammo to land those receivers, and only AJ Brown is elite The OP's point is that making a Julio Jones type deal to move up for a receiver doesn't equate to championships, and I would agree. We have an elite QB in his prime on a massive contract. This team has to build its roster through the draft to keep contending
  19. And i think that's what the Bills are trying to do by doing a small reset of the roster where they have let go of older players that are no longer great or worth the cost. They got a good return on Diggs, and hopefully they get an impact receiver or two from this draft. Next season they hopefully get another impact player or two...along with maybe a key free agent or two, and we are back to being looked at as a top tier roster.
  20. It seems as if some aren't really getting the point If you would like to cry about the Bills moves this offseason, then your welcome to find a thread dedicated to such a thing My post is discussing the benefits from the moves they have made
  21. Interesting idea, and honestly...I wouldn't hate it. As the OP eluded to...Matt Milano has had some trouble with injuries, and he's likely trending on the backend of his prime. If the right deal came along, I'd be open to this move. The team is looking to reload and fill the roster with young talent.
  22. I'm not saying McDermott will get us any further than we have been during his time as head coach. What I'm saying is that there's now a narrative that may benefit Josh and the Bills. I expect a season similar to the past few where we are in the playoffs and have a legitimate shot. Only difference is that now if we do that, Josh will receive more credit, which may get him an MVP trophy
  23. is that I now believe the narrative on Josh and the Bills in general has changed. We are now according to the media a non contender. We lost both our top two receivers and one being a top five guy in Diggs. We had to let go of our safeties, our Center, and our best pass rusher from last season. The window is closed. The Bills won't be a threat, and Josh has a rag tag group to throw to. This to me opens up the door for Josh to elevate his game this season...to stay within himself and the offense to put up a phenomenal season which will give the media no other option but to recognize his greatness and finally let him win his first MVP award. This team is not what the media is portraying it in my eyes, but that doesn't matter because they have already decided we are worse, that Josh has no real receivers, and that we are yesterday's news. It's a good spot to be in for not just the team, but for Josh and his MVP chances
  24. Both ideas are not smart for this team at all Trading premium picks for a player that wants a new deal where he's paid as a top guy is what bad franchises do. Teams like Buffalo with a franchise QB jettison those guys and regain capital to strengthen the entire roster and keep contending. I also do not see the brilliance in trading up in a deep draft class at wideout. Just let the board fall to you. I also don't see Brian Thomas Jr as anything more than a raw prospect that isn't a sure thing. Not worth attaching a high second rounded to trade up for when I can wait and possibly land him or aquire another talented receiver that is more ready to play immediately. Make the pick at 28, and then trade 60 and our second next year for a high second this year and a mid round round pick next season. Now you have two talented rookies at wideout and you keep your first next season along with the high second from Minnesota
  25. Just to play a bit of devils advocate here...what if Josh would have better prepared himself in the offseason and we beat the Jets week 1 and Allen doesn't throw a boatload of picks in the first half of the season? Diggs doesn't lay into Josh, and this team possibly gets the first round bye and we maybe win the superbowl. We had to fight and claw the second half of the season because Josh wasn't good enough the first half and it cost us. Seems to me like maybe Diggs had somewhat of a point about preparation
