What dynasty? They had a great run going to the SCF 3 straight times and winning 2 Cups. But there are only 3 dynasties in hockey. The Canadiens, Islanders, and Oilers.
For two teams who have been playing each other twice a year ( minus strikes or lockouts) since 1960 its amazing that their have been so few big games between them. Only met once in the playoffs (1981 WC game) and very few times they have played for the division against one another. Maybe that changes if the Jets become a good team and the Bills remain good.
Overall not a bad weekend getting the split in this 4 game series. It sucked getting no-hit on Saturday. It looked like that would happen again yesterday. But Stanton, DJ, and Judge all go yard for an exciting comeback win.
1980 Bills and Jets at Shea. Jets rally back from a 24-10 deficit in the 4th quarter to tie the game. But Ferguson throws a 30 yard TD pass to Frank Lewis with just 6 seconds left in the game. Bills win 31-24.
I remember that. In that stretch was a huge win at SD. I think it was 28-27 and the Bills defense forced a Chuck Muncie fumble with the Chargers driving late the 4th quarter to hold on for the win.
First thing I would do is get seasons. This is the most anticipated Bills season in a long time. Expectations are sky high with fans, media. I would be at every game if I was in Buffalo during that time.
It's possible they lose but its kind of hard to have a mental letdown against a divisional rival. Games against the Fins, Jets, and Pats are most important for the obvious reasons.
He could easily get burned with 37 year old Matt Ryan. I agree with you that the Colts would be a great spot for Baker. Great OL, JT, solid defense. He would do well there.
