Well that’s quite specific. Why don’t we compare Amari to WR’s drafted top 5 or 10 in the last 25 years? Or even last 12? Where would he rank then? Here’s the top 10 WR’s from 2022 to 2010: London Wilson Chase Waddle Smith Corey Davis M Williams John Ross Amari Kevin White Watkins Evans Tavon Austin Justin Blackmon AJ Green Julio Jones Where is Amari on that list? Julio, AJ, Evans, Chase all clear him inarguably. He’s obviously better than the busts on that list. He’s in that Smith Wilson, Waddle tier to me. Anywhere from 5th to 7th in the last 12 years of top 10 WR’s. But definitely not in the top 4.

He was SUPPOSED to be elite. He was the #1WR in that class by a mile. It’s been confusing honestly why he hasn’t been better.

The class of guys that he was supposed to be in when he was drafted #4 overall? You are right that the predraft expectation of Cooper is a little irrelevant at this point because it was 10 years ago. But the reason he is on his 4th team and been traded 3 times is because while he’s a good WR with the ability to put up monster individual performances, he’s never shown the ability to be as consistent of a producer as he should have been.

Cooper is the best boundary WR on the roster, by a mile. Feel free to dispute that lol.

We know, because he was wearing a bionic hand cover after Week 1. I said, at the time, his hand was broken and now, 15 weeks later, he admitted it was broken. They hid it and didn’t come out and say it was broken, because on a 4th and 1 QB sneak, they didn’t want to give the opposing teams any more reason to grab his hand and twist it. Like all teams do.

Do you feel like Cooper disappears more than the other big name WR’s though? I always kinda felt that way in Oakland or Dallas. I say that all to say he’s still clearly WR1 on this roster by a mile, but he’s probably WR3 in Cincy.

No I don’t. Read it again. Hopkins is averaging less than 10 YPG more than Cooper. 38.5 to 47.8. And the Chiefs’ offensive numbers and Mahomes’ numbers have improved dramatically since trading for him, similar to the Bills.
