  1. How is drafting Boogie Basham a "need pick" when you drafted two DE's in the first and second round right before him? But reaching for a center when you need a backup not a "need pick?"
  2. Reid blocked Matt Nagy from taking an OC job. Oh and he let Nagy call plays in KC. But no, everyone hates EB despite Joe Mixon playing in the NFL or something, right?
  3. So you want them to draft for need, but just for offense? They should take their 12th OG on the board in round two instead of their #2 DT?
  4. McVay was blocking KOC from taking other OC jobs. https://www.therams.com/news/mcvay-kevin-oconnell-has-huge-say-huge-influence-on-how-we-want-to-operate Andy Reid has been campaigning for this dude to get off his staff. Maybe that's a difference. Who knows. Maybe the NFL just loves guys like Matt Patricia and Joe Judge like you said. Held in the highest regard among the media. lmao.
  5. The offense was labored the entire second half. It looked like every drive was a chore to get through. I 100% agree. I actually think Dorsey really struggled with changing things up, more than anything else. The NFL is a league where teams catch-up. We were unreal the first few weeks of the season, and as teams starting to figure us out a bit better, we never pivoted at all. That's one thing Dabs would do a lot of. He would do the jet motion a lot, then shelve it, then bring it back. Set concepts or combos up in September, bring them back but change them in December. If you watch Bills offense from 2021 from like week 3 compared to week 16, there's a ton of variability. If you watch the 2022 offense, it gets simpler and obviously, worse.
  6. Oh yeah ur so right dude. No one every talks about how Pats coordinators blow and are overrated because BB is the real mastermind. You truly have a finger on the pulse of the NFL media.
  7. We should sign a truly elite pass rusher to deliver in big moments.....
  8. Would it surprise you to learn the Bills drafted 4 OL players in the last 2 years? They all just sucked. "We need to focus on drafting for offense" becomes "drafting for need" pretty quick. Something everyone seems to freak out about all the time.
  9. EB is going to be learning on the job, even more than Dorsey at this point. If you wanna say last year, I agree that's not crazy. I could see going with EB > Dorsey when neither had been a real OC. Once we hired Dorsey last year, he was going to get 2-3 years as OC unless he had a Nate Hackett level implosion.
  10. Lmao betting on Bieniemy would be a bigger gamble than hoping Dorsey improves. Another guy who has basically zero experience actually calling plays and running an offense, except this guy could barely get a job after being with Reid and Mahomes for 5 years?
  11. Sure, but it also doesn't mean it was the "incorrect" strategy. Do you think the season goes different if Saffold is a top 15 G, Kaiir is a starter in camp and never lets the job go (like Tre White did 6 years ago), and Von never tears his ACL? I do.
  12. The Bills draft for defense and use FA for offense primarily. It’s been a little one sided perhaps, but the offense is basically an FA fest compared to the D. I think Beane’s strategy is that competent OL players can be found for relatively cheap dollars. The list of OL signed since 2018 is staggering, we just haven’t gotten enough guys who are competent. I will say it again, the Bills went out and addressed their three biggest needs last off-season. Premiere pass rusher, IOL, and CB. The pass rusher worked out until injury, the IOL was a total bust and the jury is out on the CB. And that’s how a team that was supposed to take a step forward, doesn’t. The execution failed.
  13. This is correct. The same scenario will likely play out for Oliver next year. It’s the way of the NFL. You can probably count on one hand the number of rookies who played out their fifth year without a long term deal that stayed with their team. Even with the Bills. Shaq. Gilmore. Edmunds. It’s a trend
  14. Can we look at the Sabres? Why is there so much trust in the Pegulas hiring the right people? Right now Beane and McD look like the only positive exception in what’s been a horrible track record.
  15. We could get another AJE or Boogie Basham or Cody Ford. Good point.
  16. who do you want? Your plan has Diggs + Shakir + ??????
  17. Man, after 4 years of "Edmunds is playing his role exactly the way McD wants," we get this? This was the plan 2 years ago to let him walk and change defenses? Nah man. Nah. Not buying it. Nice try.
  18. He didn't draft Teddy dude. Sure Pro Bowls aren't the best marker but you'd think with Brady throwing the ball, he'd had more than Mac Jones and Thuney.
  19. Sure, he had a system. He also found a lot of diamonds in the rough in UDFA or cast-offs from other teams. But he still sucked at drafting lol. BB drafted 2 Pro-Bowlers in the last 9 years. We drafted 2 ProBowlers in 2018. If Beane goes another 4 without a single Pro-Bowler, he needs to go lol.
  20. What does this mean?
  21. He's bad at drafting.
  22. Not particularly. His system was "Tom Brady is the best QB of all time and can throw to literal garbage cans." He drafted 2 ProBowlers since 2014. Joe Thuney (who plays for the Chiefs) and Mac Jones.
  23. shoot me in the ***** face lol
