  1. Very funny that we all have different opinions on the why and how to fix it, but 99% of folks agree these WRs ain’t good enough. That’s close enough for universal truth on here imo.
  2. If we don’t trade for a massive talent infusion at WR, I fear this year is DOA
  3. Beano won’t trade for a WR. It’s a tacit admission he was a complete moron in the offseason going on WGR and he’s gotta save face for Terry.
  4. I legitimately do not believe the cover1 boys for a second
  5. Coleman gets all the criticism because he’s being benched for poor behavior
  6. Well, see, we couldn't afford Metcalf, but Palmer, Moore and Samuel all cost more than Metcalf. Go figure.
  7. Do we see Shakir slowing up considerably here with bracketed coverage? I'm no WR coach, but when running a crosser like that, wouldn't the correct move to try to...out run the guy trailing you? Honest question because I don't know.
  8. When we trade for a WR, does Beane go back on WGR for round 2?
  9. There's not much to change. Our defense is reliant on guys who were in their prime 5 years ago to be stars. And some of them are hurt. We are reliant on rookies who are basically all looking...well like rookies and young players. Our talent pipeline from 2018 to 2024 was very poor. 2022 was a good year, but the rest not so much. We don't have a ton of experienced good guys to replace the old guys who are aging out. Here are players on the active roster drafted from 2018 to now that are contributing. Josh, Taron, Ed, Knox, AJE, Rousseau, Brown, Hamlin, Cook, Benford, Bernard, Shakir, Kincaid, Dorian, OCT, Coleman, Bishop, Ray Davis. That's not a real murderer's row of talent. Taron was excellent but has fallen off a cliff.
  10. As I said at the time, I pegged his ceiling as a Mike Williams type. High variance TD and 800-1000 yards average per year. He's just not a 1. And he's not a guy you really want to pay as a 2.
  11. I'm sure he's super smart guy and a heckuva coach. I'm also sure he tries to break every other coach's hand in the handshake line.
  12. It's honestly the fault of the org that they basically set him up to the be the WR savior. He will get unnecessary flak if he only turns out to be a good role player WR.
  13. Vrabel IS a meathead AND a great coach.
  14. I don’t think you watch enough NFL if you think Josh’s performance was “poor.” Poor by his standards, sure. But not poor. that kinda speaks to the larger part that we can’t beat the Pats without our QB playing like the best QB in football, which bodes ill.
  15. I fear it may be Gabe time. The WRs are largely ass. Curtis Samuel is gadgety, and Shakir is still great with a hair of space, but nobody and I mean nobody can separate or give some fear deep. I’m not sure what Tyrell Shavers does outside of wearing Diggs’ number and getting a significant amount of cardio. The Pats pressed all night. This was basically the 2024 Ravens defensive gameplan. They dared us to throw all over them. We could not. Some folks say we need to trade for a WR. That would be nice. But the answer may be on our bench right now. We need some guy to run a go or skinny post and be a bit dangerous. Can Gabe still do that?
  16. Somehow the Pats corners looked pretty good covering for 10+ seconds
  17. Devin Funchess
  18. Do we think Dewayne Carter can pull it off this year?
  19. I’m firing the coach who falls to 0-5 to a KC team that isn’t going anywhere. I don’t care what playoff game it is.
  20. we’ve lost in AFCCG’s before. It’s not enough
  21. Beane should go on WGR to explain why nobody is open when Josh dodges 4 defenders in the backfield for 10 seconds looking desperately down field.
  22. Okay. When we get outcoached again, and the defense gags again and we lose to KC AGAIN, I’ll see you there.
  23. Same as it ever was. this could be a post from 3 years ago. what a ***** joke lol
