Correct. they have the advantage at HC, QB and roster talent going into 2024. a swap of any of them would increase our odds and decrease theirs. The Bills roster is where the gap has gotten larger in 2024. We had clear “guys” in years past. White, Milano, Hyde, Poyer etc etc. Guys who were high level performers for most of their time here and would be no-brainers on a “who are the 7 best Bills players” list. Going into 2024, in light of the Milano injury, who is the second best player on the team? Ed Oliver maybe? Who is the third best? I think it might be Curtis Samuel? 2024 is proof positive of the talent dearth facing the Bills. This team needs a few draft picks to really pop to get back to where we were in 2020-21.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

In fairness, I think LJ has a far worse case for best or second best than any of the others. -
Unfortunately, you’re sneaky wrong. You can have some concentration drops and not be in danger of losing your job to a 24 year old mid round pick. no one is saying those drops don’t exist. He drops the ball. He’s still had one of the best individual seasons by a running back last year.

Come on bro. youre telling me you’re not excited for all the gaslighting by like week 6 that “nobody could have known this group wasn’t gonna be great before the season”? -
Corey Davis is a solid comp for Keon Coleman imo.

Who could have seen this coming? Yeah 4 of 11 starters on offense (and really 4 of 6 non-OL players) is not 5.6% FYI. -

That would support we built a worse version of the 2015 Panthers. -

They massacred our boy just like they did with Cam Speedster with stone hands - Ted Ginn Jr - MVS Bigger contested catch guy - Devin Funchess - Coleman Good TE - 7th Floor Crew Greg - Kincaid I bet Beano gets a wistful look in his eye when he remembers that team getting massacred by the Broncos defense and not being able to outscore the rotting corpse of Peyton Manning. Those were the good old days. -
Nah. Cook is pretty good. Let him touch the ball 400+ times over the next two years and then let him go. Hopeful that Bass turns it around, but he sneaky was never really good. I think we have a new kicker in 25 personally.

Chiefs start 2-2, we all laugh about the dynasty being over, and then they rip off another AFCCG, rinse, repeat until the sun explodes.

Haason Reddick has 3.5 sacks and 6 QB hits in his postseason career (4 games). Greg Rousseau has 1 sack and 3 QB hits in his postseason career (6 games). Give me the guy who affects the opposing QB when it matters most, personally.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ray Davis barely eclipses Cook’s 2023 season in his entire Bills career. Bananas commentary

Look at it this way. Tyler Bass has ranked in his career in FG% 20th 15th 11th 23rd He is quite literally a below average kicker who kicks a DREADFUL 70.6% in the postseason (and an unfathomable 89% on XP’s in the playoffs). Tyler Bass may be the most overrated Bills player on the roster. He had a good stretch of play from the end of 21 to the beginning of 22 and has never recaptured that form. James Cook was a far better RB last season than Bass’s best season EVER as a kicker. you should not worry about Bass not because he missed a couple FG’s last year. You should worry about Bass because he’s been streaky and overall nothing special at best his entire Bills tenure.
-
Huh? He was top 6 in receiving yards by RB’s last season. He was 2nd in yards per catch among RB’s. 3rd in TD catches among RB’s. This is just ignorant commentary.
-
Because he’s already the third down back. Because he’s already had a great season catching the football out of the backfield.
-
Favorite drop? Charles Clay to lose to the Dolphins with no time left.
-
Because you post 10 YPC and 4 TD’s on decent volume when you actually play the game. Cook has ball security and concentration drops. He’s also one of the few explosive players on this offense. He will be a heavy focus.
