  1. He was effective when the rest of the defense was healthy. He had some decent plays last night. He's not a game wrecker and you'll rarely find a DE who is one at the end of the first round.
  2. It would also be the last time you heard from them. Schopp & Bulldog are on the negative slant, OBL is essentially propaganda, and the morning show falls somewhere in the middle. Joe Dibiase is probably my favorite of the bunch and has more of the level headed takes.
  3. Guy who has had the team on his shoulders for his entire career also has a lot of INTs. How is this shocking again?
  4. I'm not accusing you of doing so, but you do see a lot of talk out there about "Hollywood Josh" and all that. I don't think it's warranted.
  5. Absolutely. The Bills are at their best under center utilizing play action. It's not even close. Dorsey doesn't want to play that way though and clearly he (or McD) refuses to pivot, so we're stuck with this round peg in the square hole situation. That's why I think we look so much better in a hurry up style, because Allen and the team are actually playing to their strengths instead of Dorsey calling the same bland uninspired trash.
  6. There's probably some truth to this, and occasionally you see some shade thrown their way (ala McKenzie's comments after leaving). I don't think the offense has much faith in Dorsey at this point.
  7. I don't want to speculate on anyone's personal lives, the players are people with hardships, loss, conflict, sorrow, etc... just like anyone else. While it can effect the on the field product, it doesn't seem fair to punish or reprimand them for it. I firmly believe that the major difference maker outside of QB (where the true talent pool is miniscule) is the coaching. Every team is basically filled with JAGs, and it the coach's job to elevate them. Dorsey is too predictable, and as a result the execution seems to be suffering. That's my take anyways. Bottom line: He should be shown the door today.
  8. McDermott's worst quality as a coach is his gameday management, so this shouldn't be shocking to anyone, but that challenge was egregiously horrible. If Arthur Smith, McDaniels, or any other bottom feeder team did this the national media would have a field day raking them over the coals.
  9. Were they though? This team needs to go all in on offense.
  10. They've been figured out. When the fans can call out the tendencies of the OC with a high degree of accuracy imagine what a team doing 30+ hours of film study can do. Dorsey can't innovate or pivot in a meaningful way. Execution is part of it, but the execution is excruciatingly difficult when the other team knows exactly what you're trying to do. It's why we look better up-tempo, because Dorsey has no time to call the same stupid shotgun run.
  11. I've waffled back and forth on whether it's warranted to actually fire Dorsey, but the difference between our hurry up offense and what we look like when Dorsey has time to sit back and call plays is undeniable. I'm not qualified to say if Dorsey's scheme isn't being executed properly. I don't know how you can look at our team and say we are playing to our strengths though. He's got to go at this point, and if nothing changes then McDermott should be on the hot seat. I think he's a good coach but whatever he's doing isn't working anymore.
  12. If White isn’t cut. Cold truth is that I think it’s likely we have seen his last snap as a Bill.
  13. I don't know how he wouldn't be starting over Jackson. In my (uneducated) opinion, he's better at almost everything.
  14. He's a tier higher than Levi Wallace, at least.
  15. I called McD "not a likeable guy" after the Giants win and I caught a ton of crap for it on this board, with some fellow going off on a tangent about how he has more testosterone or something. For as good as McD is, he does seem like he's always under extreme constant stress.
  16. I'd love to see the Bills make a splashy mid-season trade, even if it didn't work out.
  17. Right. I get it. I just don't know how detrimental it is. I don't notice Allen getting pressured more when Cook is out there, but I'm sure it's possible.
  18. This is the best "We got Derrick Henry at home" signing we could have made I guess. It's fine. Just use Cook more though, especially in the passing game.
  19. Maybe the Bears should just throw the ball. Take the kid gloves off, you're gonna lose anyways.
  20. This is the best example of Stockholm Syndrome that I've ever seen.
  21. Allen is the best when he's up tempo and able to audible to what he's seeing. Dorsey called a pretty good game, but we still see some dumb plays that just don't work for whatever reason, and they have basically never worked. He needs to be a little less stubborn and move to what the team is best at.
  22. No coach is ready to win a superbowl until they actually do it. The disconnect between some fans here and the reality of the team is nuts, people saying that McD is worse than some rookie HCs. I don't think McD is perfect, far from it, but there's no reason why he can't win a superbowl. If we had the entire starting defense and were 5-3 I could understand the teeth gnashing, but the circumstances are what they are. They absolutely should be more aggressive and shift to an "offense first" mindset. That's where the future of this season lives or dies by, and they're starting to do it right. This week was a big leap in the right direction.
  23. Agreed except for the sneak part if Allen's shoulder really is a concern.
