Who do the Bills want to bring back to the PS?
Bruffalo replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't really care if they bring back any of the WRs, none of them have shown much promise, although I'm sure someone like Hamler, Isabella, or Shavers will be back. Hardy I think is the guy I hope comes back. Questionable returning decisions but fairly decent DB play. Eli Ankou. Any of the O-Line that's available. Gore? Eh... I guess. -
He was signed to the PS so that he could run the scout team to prep for the Dolphins. I like him more than Trubisky (that's not saying much after his preseason), but I'll be surprised if he dethrones Mitch for the backup role permanently.

At RB, knowledge of the game can only get you so far. You need strength or speed, ideally both. I'll be happy to eat crow if he develops into something great, and it's a nice story, but I just don't see the path.
-
He can against 3rd string dudes, sure. He's one of the worst RB athletic prospects this year. His vision is good but that's about where it ends.
-
He's probably a good PS candidate, but yeah I don't see the upside nearly as much as everyone else.

We will run 3 TE sets and you'll like it! Don't make him cut another!

Narrator: "It wasn't" No offense to the Bills Media or anything here but this happens every year. Our bottom talent guys aren't going to suddenly become meaningful players because they went through another Bills training camp. The guys that elevate themselves from their status are like 1/100, you maybe see 10 across the entire NFL each year.

Tim Patrick please (On his way to Detroit)
Bruffalo replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really liked Tim Patrick pre-injury. I think he'd probably be an upgrade over a lot our bottom choices (including Mac Hollins as a pure receiver). He's at least as good as MVS is today. That being said, Hollins is not going anywhere. I've never seen a bottom WR get more media play than him from the team. -
Other Teams Cuts That Might Help the Bills

All the single moms: -
I could definitely kick him in the ass. Whether or not I'd be able to get away is another story...

Other Teams Cuts That Might Help the Bills

Zach Wilson might get cut from the Broncos, I'm not saying he's good but he's better than Mitch. Mike White or Bailey Zappe are also possibilities I guess. -
How many of y'all drafted Shakir as your FF sleeper?
Bruffalo replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Knowing my friends in the Buffalo league, he will be gone by round 6-7. -
How many of y'all drafted Shakir as your FF sleeper?
Bruffalo replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Shakir more than Samuel after the turf toe thing. My leagues are drafting this weekend. One is a Buffalo league, so Bills players are always massively inflated. The other is friends from around the country, so I might be able to snag him (I'm really looking to get Kincaid in this league). -
If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…
Bruffalo replied to julian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would we trade away high end speed when the team is desperately lacking it? For all the fans clamoring for more weapons, I can't imagine trading one of our best options to keep defenses honest... -
He's on the edge of being cut by TN, so like a 6th and we get a 7th in return.
-
I would just trade for Malik Willis. He can probably be gotten for cheap at this point and he's certainly has more upside. I'll take a backup QB who can run over a failed first rounder any day of the week.

McDermott: "MVS & Samuel good chance of Week 1 return"
Bruffalo replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Having or not having MVS really shouldn't be a determining factor on whether or not we win any games. I'm surprised that they basically confirmed he's making the team. Samuel being healthy to play is big though. He's had his best career years with Brady, so I'm cautiously optimistic he could do very well here.- 55 replies

I agree with a lot of that, but the "Coleman is legit" narrative doesn't have much going for it yet. I want him to be great. He has one of the best personalities you can have in a WR. He has every opportunity right now to come out the gate as a major contributor, but we haven't seen it in the preseason and there hasn't been a ton of practice buzz either. Fingers crossed though.

Close your eyes McDermott haters…he’s a top 10 HC
Bruffalo replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is kind of where I land. McD absolutely deserves to be a head coach, but he's been responsible for some of the weirdest losses in NFL history, and he can't maximize what's truly made the team a threat the last 5 years, Allen. It seems like poor asset management to have a defensive head coach when you have a true top 5 QB, so I'd be okay moving on just because of that. An Allen led team has a floor of about 10 wins, in my opinion. How much has McD elevated us beyond that? -
Coleman: I hate to say it but the expectations on him are going to be huge. It's not really his fault, it's just the situation he's been thrust into. If he doesn't flash brightly at camp, the sky is going to start falling. Center: This is quietly a big worry of mine. Interior pressure is the best way to throw Allen (and almost any QB) off his game. If we don't have a rock solid center from day 1 it could really mess things up offensively.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
Bruffalo replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The memes are going to be horrific if Coleman doesn't end up hitting. I think they'll be fine, but it'll likely be Packers post Adams "fine". Which is a nice way of saying the QB propping up a bunch of dudes.
