  1. Clearly he doesn’t have any teams who are willing to give him a roster spot, I’m guessing multiple teams have said you can be on the PS. This lets him stay in shape and let him come back to a place he knows
  2. He’s not even going to be a backup, let alone a starter. He’s here to be on the PS. The sooner people understand this, the less likely it is we get the idiotic threads about him playing like we did with Micah last year
  3. If he wants to keep playing, even in the PS, that’s his motivation. He loves Buffalo, his wife loves Buffalo, and he can help the young guys. Little to no chance he ever plays in a game
  4. This to me is all being said in hindsight. There were incredibly long threads on here talking about how the Bills blew it, Hodgins was going to be amazing, on and on and on. No one was saying he was a one trick pony
  5. Everything I have heard about Milton this preseason is how poorly he has played. He’s not the answer at backup QB
  6. To be fair, the agent should be pissed Jerry didn’t go right to him-that’s a shady move on his part
  7. Wow, I didn’t realize Tre was THAT important to the defense
  8. Honest question-how is trading for Metchie a superior move to the Bills signing Davis? They gave up draft assets for a guy who had 40 catches and 1 touchdown in his career. He hasn’t exactly been tearing up the league
  9. Again, I appreciate the laugh! There is very little that you said that is nothing more than fear baiting. The other night wasn’t great at all-for the guys who are going to be cut or be depth. Few, if any, starters played, so the Bills essentially started their JV team against Chicago’s varsity team. Didn’t get out of hand? Yup, but honestly I’m not really worried about Brandon Codrington giving up a big play for a touchdown. if by some chance every starter in offense and defense got hurt then yes, there would be concern, but I think they will be fine. In terms of not having a ton of depth, you know what other teams don’t have a ton of depth? Every team in the league! There’s not enough money to get quality starters AND have quality depth. Also, I want the young guys to take their lumps now rather than when it counts. So until week 1, I will certainly continue to enjoy the massively hilarious overreactions to the undisciplined, disorganized mess
  10. Can you honestly say that some of the things said about the preseason games haven’t been unhinged? There’s a difference between concern and what some people post in the game thread or other threads
  11. I would just like to thank all of you who have these extreme overreactions to the preseason games, it makes this place incredibly entertaining for the rest of us to watch the meltdowns during the preseason. It really makes me giddy when I see the Bishop/Hamlin/back up QB/ def line doom and gloom posts right now, I legit enjoy coming here to read them! 😁 At no point during the offseason does anyone ever say they want to see wins or even great play during these games, they want everyone to come out healthy. But then, lo and behold, these games start and it's thread after thread of "this team has no chance" or "they need to fire Beane/McDermott now" to go with "This years and last years draft classes are horrible" I for one really enjoy watching so many go off the deep end So cheers to all of you who are a part of this, know that you are making my day!
  12. I once sent a video to my wife of me taking a shot from the bowling ball and no joke she refused to kiss me for weeks! im not 100% sure it was because of the shot, but it’s my best guess
  13. The one stat for Jim Kelly was crazy: 1-14 for 4 yards and 3 ints in the 3rd quarter! can you imagine this place if that happened now?!?!
  14. Nope, what a diva…I knew he was going to be a problem as soon as he signed his deal-can we get out of his contract yet?????
  15. @Victory Formation what did I say that got the eye roll? You called me out (incorrectly) so at least defend your reaction
  16. You’re thinking of the wrong person then. I wanted him to get paid for sure, didn’t want the $15 mil. I have certainly battled people on the perception of Cook (he’s a distraction, he’s a me player, he doesn’t want to be here, he’s the bad guy because he wants to get paid-I definitely fought against all those). I never once said a value of what he was worth and/or should’ve gotten
  17. They didn’t list Fred Jackson’s 80 yarder
  18. He’s a 3rd round pick, should the expectation be becoming an elite edge rusher?
  19. Which is why I love the instant overreactions! This place is a goldmine of terribly negative overreactions when a guy is signed and I’m all for it…I can’t wait for the McGovern vs Torrence threads
  20. Relax it's not that serious - you still haven't answered mine so I guess we are even
  21. Wasn't trying to answer it - my statement is pretty obvious. Why is this all being directed at Cook? All of those other guys signed extensions, but only Cook's negatively effects being able to sign guys? Doesn't make sense
  22. What do you mean pass catching chops? If it's about drops, that narrative is extremely overblown because of his 2nd year. If it's not about that, can you explain?
  23. the same guys who need their deals re-done for Benford, Shakir, Groot, Bernard.....or is it only Cook that makes things not affordable now? Do those other guys not count?
  24. Read @DrDawkinstein comment - Cook is, in absolutely 10000000% whatsoever, going to be the reason they can't sign McGovern in the future. This whole "Cook's contract is going to cost the Bills players in the future" narrative needs to end, and needs to end quickly
