  1. And the award for worst take since the playoff game goes to….
  2. Not saying in hindsight it wouldn’t have been a good deal, but the Bills probably would’ve lost that pick in a trade to get Thomas, so they wouldn’t have it
  3. That’s very true, my point was more against your “winnable” games statement
  4. This year they really only lost 3 games-most years that gets you the 1 seed. I’m not going to say that 2 road games against division winners are the easiest games
  5. I’m not normally a blame the refs guy, but they definitely played a huge role in the loss today. Several times they marked the ball short, the Worthy incompletion (will never call that a catch), the multiple penalties on the punt return. The refs were abysmal
  6. I would, considering they said Bishop is starting
  7. We don’t, we literally don’t need to know.
  8. Come on man, you’ve never seen Josh embellish some hits he has taken after he has thrown a ball? Mahomes benefits from calls, but to think Josh also doesn’t is you intentionally looking the other way at times. The Humphrey play should’ve been called, but they rarely call it on runners
  9. So every coach in the league played in the league (hint: they haven’t)? And you’re right, he never actually played in the league but did have stints with several teams-Seahawks, Steelers, and Saints Once again, knowledge and talent to do it are not the same thing.
  10. What does playing at OSU have anything to do with coaching NFL QBs? Knowledge of how to do/coach something is different from having the talent to do it. The guy played in the league, he understands what to do
  11. This is a really bad take….im guessing you’re a Michigan fan?
  12. We all love Josh but let’s be honest, him and Mahomes are on equal ground when it comes to embellishing some of these hits. I do hope they are watching the grabbing by CBs during the game though
  13. I appreciate your giddy optimism, but it’s not happening. By you thinking he will means you’re either blinded by this optimism or you just didn’t pay attention when he signed. It’s not a wasted spot, he’s doing the exact thing he was brought in for
  14. He might feel bad about the season, but he doesn’t feel “empty” by his coordinators taking head coaching jobs. Why would he?
  15. They have shown plenty of times this season a “killer instinct” even as recently as Denver. One game doesn’t worry me too much
  16. What do you mean handle it this way? How should they have handled it? I get it, you love how the guy plays, we all do…but at this point with his injuries clearly he is much more valuable for his mind than what he can actually do on the field
  17. This has been said since literally the first day he came back, why are people still surprised about this?
  18. So it means that Jackson and Clapp have a chance of playing tomorrow while Spector definitely isn’t
  19. I sure hope this comment is tongue in cheek You know who else is planning potential parades right now? Buffalo, Philadelphia, and Washington
  20. I have to assume that’s probably a standard price for a beer around the league. I went to a Phillies game last summer and they were charging $16 a beer, I saw a beer at a Dodgers game this year will be $35. It’s certainly not cheap to go to a sporting event any more
  21. So just to play devil’s advocate, would we not think the same way if the Bills were in the same position? Even now, we get offended when someone doesn’t think Josh is the best QB in the league. I think it would be easy to say “no, we wouldn’t be like that” but I think if the Bills had won 3 of the last 4 super bowls and had just gone 15-2 (with really only 1 loss) there would be a lot of us thinking the same way. That being said, it’s going to be a lot of fun watching them come back to earth on Sunday
  22. Is Watson a former pro bowler that I don’t know about? I keep reading about him in this thread and that Josh needs to avoid him. Honestly asking, am I missing something? Or is it just that he was the starter, got injured, then came back?
  23. I think I saw a stat that said Mahomes has actually not done well against the blitz for a while now. That being said, the Bills can't blitz someone like Hamlin, who seems to get blocked every time he blitzes. So if they do blitz, they have to get home.
  24. Perhaps if the Bills had turned the ball over in those games I might agree with you, but I don't think these games made them change anything. Yes the defense did not do well, but I honestly don't think they changed much up in terms of "ball control" philosophy
  25. Even with those 2 in the lineup it's not like they have been a juggernaut on offense. They can be stopped for sure
