  1. Hey man you do what you gotta do-I assume this means goodbye then, because if you aren’t watching any games any more there’s no need for you to post on here. Have a great life!!
  2. That call they got 100% right. Intentional or not, Greenlaw hit a person who isn’t even a player in the face-yes he barely touched him, but still hit him. He has to be able to control himself better when he was the one who initiated everything in the first place with his duplex of Smith. The security guard had no business getting involved so his ejection was correct too. As far as you not watching-yes you will, you won’t stop watching. You’re on a Buffalo Bills message board creating a thread about a game the Bills aren’t even involved with-you’re not going anywhere
  3. That’s what they already have been doing. Need to do better than pray that a 4th or 5th rounder eventually works out
  4. Yeah and he scored a TD before the end of regulation that should’ve won it too…or does that not fit your narrative here? He gave the Bills the lead TWICE on his last 2 possessions, it’s weird that people want to pin the loss on him
  5. It’s still an interception though. Not really a fan of “just think of it as an arm punt” NO, it’s an interception. You hardly ever see other QBs throw “arm punts.” The Hail Mary interception was a stupid throw the other week. As soon as the play broke down, he should’ve just ran for 15 yards and taken the game to half. If the narrative of him not being interception prone is going to go away, then stop with the unnecessary interceptions
  6. Sorry, gotta disagree with you here. Cam knocks that ball down, which he easily could/should have, game over. I believe it was then the next game (or shortly after) where he almost lost the Bills another game I still vomit in my mouth every time I see that dude on the field.
  7. So regarding the “melon farmer” what else do you want him to do?! Aside from cutting down on turnovers, what else can he do? In 3 of their losses, he did what he was supposed to do-he gave the team the lead late in the game. If the defense actually holds a team, they are 9-3 and this discussion isn’t happening. His cap hit is huge next year, honestly who cares? Arizona, chargers, ravens, broncos, etc all will have bigger cap hits for the QB next year and I would much rather have our guy. That being said, I can’t complain too much about anything else you said. They have done a pretty poor job, outside of linebacker, of having young cheap replacements who are ready to step in…that’s also on McDermott for not actually playing these guys and figuring out what you have
  8. Even so, him not “trying any more” is still better than anything else the Bills have and better than like 80-85% of the receivers in the league I understand the frustration that everyone has, I have it to, but to want to drive the best player on the team out of Buffalo is crazy
  9. These statements baffle me - “get what you can” NO YOU DON’T GET WHAT YOU CAN FOR A CLEAR WR1 if a team puts together an impressive offer then sure you entertain it, but you’re not trading him for just anything. I’m assuming you want to get rid of McDermott as well (which is fine) but you presumably want your new coach to start his time in Buffalo with no viable weapons at the WR position?
  10. You’re going to blame the guy who had 450+ yards of offense??
  11. Someone else had mentioned Bass not being great this year-is there something I’m missing? He missed the extra point, but I feel he’s been pretty solid this year, no?
  12. I did-you mention a team the Bills don’t even play all season and 2 teams they haven’t played yet. I get that you’re looking at the better teams they have played, but to me the point you’re trying to make just doesn’t land
  13. I honestly don’t even understand what that first part even means. The Bills don’t even play the Vikings, put up 50 against the dolphins, and haven’t played the other 2 yet. I actually think this year the def is NOT overrated for once. They have been decimated by injuries but are still holding teams under 20 ppg. Yes they gave up terrible game ending drives in 2 losses, so maybe that’s where your overrated statement comes from. Its very possible the Bills need 30+ on Sunday, but the Eagles are not the juggernaut your statement is attempting to convey
  14. These bigger game halftime shows aren’t for people like us. The NFL gives less than zero F’s if guys generally 30+ years old who comment on message boards like the halftime show. My guess is there are plenty of women (the demographic they’re actually targeting) were completely fine with it unfortunately
  15. Wish I could give 2 reactions to this! This might be the most truthful thing ever said on this board!!!
  16. Well it’s also because this board overanalyzes every tiny, minute detail about this team and only look at the records of the teams the Bills are facing. Yes the Eagles are 9-1, but several of their wins are just as ugly as Buffalo….and their one loss was to the Jets
  17. I think the fact they practically played in a monsoon for a lot of that game didn’t hurt either
  18. Replay was brought in because the refs were making mistakes. I know people look back at the earlier years with rose colored glasses, but refs made tons of mistakes back then as well. The difference now is that the players are so much faster and stronger than they used to be, plus the addition of social media and everyone having an outlet to voice their opinion on, things seem worse than ever before
  19. Didn't stand a chance? They lost by 6, come on now
  20. Not sure I've read a more bipolar thread this one after only 2 pages. From what I have gathered, dude is still an absolute stud so we need to sign him, but make sure we don't sign him because he's done....does that pretty much cover it?
  21. This comment is why just throwing stats out there without context is misleading. It's also why I hated Josh actually throwing up that Hail Mary last game. Yes he threw a pick last game, so people like you are going to run with "well he has an int for 6 straight games" but come on....if he doesn't throw that Hail Mary the streak is over. Also though, why would Josh throw that ball? I know it's just a stat, but I hated he threw that ball BECAUSE of comments like this. I think him not throwing that ball, having him go a half/whole game without a turnover would be much better for his psyche than a useless Hail Mary attempt. Perhaps call the Hail Mary in the huddle, but as soon as that play broke down, just run 10-15 yards and call it a half
  22. Wait hold on, you’re saying something against the Bills?!?!?! Preposterous!!!!
  23. So my issue with changing DPI to 10 or 15 yards is you are potentially rewarding a defender getting badly beaten 35-40 yards down the field. I don’t think the NFL will ever change that rule simply because it helps the offense
  24. I actually hated they went for the Hail Mary. I think it could’ve gone a longer way to have Josh go an entire game without a turnover than throwing up a prayer that has a higher likelihood of getting intercepted (which it did) than something positive happening. Perhaps take the snap with the intention of going for the Hail Mary, but as soon as the jets lineman got through (they only rushed 3, how did 2 of them get through) and the play at the line broke down, just take your 10-15 rush and get out of the half
