Why so much fear for a team that hasn’t really impressed all season?

so this statement to me is where people get lost on the MVP conversation. It’s all about stats, narratives, and somehow year after year we watch some guy have “one of the greatest seasons ever” because we all love a good hyperbole. Saquon needed this better situation to put up the stats he has. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great player, but he’s not the most valuable player to his team in the entire league. This is why the award goes to quarterbacks, and it’s really difficult to make an argument that any QB is more valuable to their team’s success than Josh is for the Bills

I just think saying he will be OPOY but not even a top 20 MVP candidate (and also name 3 or 4 offensive players on his own team above him) is a bit disingenuous. Again I agree with most of your statements, but to me you went too far with the last part l, that’s all

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but I’m not sure an upgrade at safety is needed. Bishop will have a year under his belt, Rapp had played really well so I don’t think there NEEDS to be an upgrade. Certainly bring someone in for competition, perhaps even re-sign Hamlin, but there are other places they should spend money

Using a 3rd or 4th round pick on a kicker right in the middle of Josh's prime would be an absolute and utter waste of resources. There are so many other spots on the field that you can use those picks for before you waste it on a kicker - who by the way you are now paying top dollar for. So now a draft pick has been traded and you're using up cap space. Not a smart move at all

It’s also crazy how not dragging his toe completely changes the narrative of the game he played. If he stays in bounds, he has 100 yards receiving for the game, lots of questions today about why didn’t the Bills draft him, blah blah blah. He doesn’t though, doesn’t get another pass thrown to him the rest of the game, and people can say he was shut down by the defense

On his touchdown Mahomes knew he was going to him right away. I’m no defensive coordinator obviously, not really sure how you call a defense though that lines up a linebacker on the fastest guy in the league

I think some on here talk about Von on here so much because they’re just like some media still with Josh. They didn’t like the signing or are still upset with him after he came back from his injury and they aren’t willing to change their POV
