  1. So let me add on a little more to my OP. While it seems like neither did much, there was A LOT of pushing and shoving, clearly both were agitated throughout the game. They allowed the Jets to get into their heads. So while nobody "saw" was Dawkins did, it's very possible he had been warned that he was close to a flag, said something, and it put the refs over the edge. Same with Brown. The whole point of my statement was that they can't allow the other team to get in their heads - in this case it cost the Bills 30 yards, could cost more in the future. They have several other high level, high intensity games this year, are they going to be foolish and get more penalties?
  2. I’m sure this will be an unpopular take, but if the Bills had lost I would’ve put as much blame on Brown and Dawkins as I would have placed on Bass. Both of their unsportsmanlike penalties were absolute drive killers. Even more concerning is just their lack of composure, especially Brown. Big game, they are amped up, but you have to control yourself. This isn’t the first time Brown has acted like this throughout a game. Love that he plays with an edge, but the stupid penalties are unacceptable
  3. That one was the right call-although the correct call had to be made by replay, not by the refs
  4. How come no other QB in the league has “arm punt” interceptions then? Unless it’s a 50+ yard throw down the field, then the punt is better. You have guys out there prepared and equipped to make a tackle. I get taking a shot on 3rd and 18, but an interception is still an interception
  5. Sorry but this term has to die. This wasn’t a thing until a couple of years ago when people started justifying some of Josh’s interceptions. No such thing as an arm punt
  6. Yeah but if you listen to Troy Aikman, he should have at least 5 or 6. Not sure why he doesn’t like the Bills, but every game he calls he always has comments against them
  7. Cool, so what are you watching tonight instead?
  8. Took our lunch money? What does that even mean?
  9. I thought the Bills will have a bunch of cap space next year, is that not right?
  10. This is revisionist history at its finest. Almost everybody wanted Dorsey and the move was largely loved here, and the same thing happened with Brady. So “sham interview” or not, the Bills went with the guy in both cases that pretty much everybody wanted
  11. See, to me someone asking that question is much more annoying than someone just rooting for the team…that’s just a douchey fan
  12. Yeah, but if the implication is the league doesn’t want Josh to do well, that’s not correct. They absolutely want to see Josh in these situations too
  13. All that means is you prefer nostalgia and the older look compared to now. Plenty of teams now have really good looking jerseys, but most of us on here grew up in the 90’s or earlier and we like what we saw as a kid. Personally I definitely prefer Seattle’s current jersey over what they wore last night (and I grew up in the 90’s)
  14. I’ve seen you mention this “not a homer” take so many times, as if actually liking the football team we root for is in some way off. Where is anyone says no there are no flaws on this team? You look at your take on the team as “rational” I look at it as someone who is A) playing both sides of the coin because either the Bills win or you get to say I told you so or B) thinks it will be less disappointing if/when the Bills lose
  15. You don’t think most receivers in the league catch that ball?
  16. It was only an overthrow because of who he was throwing to. Even a halfway decent receiver makes that catch
  17. I love hyperbole as much as the next guy, but man is this laying it on thick. He didn't develop the game plan that targeted Mack Hollins, also I'm not sure how much better he could've thrown that one deep ball to Collins - that ball has to be caught. He had an off game, but dude, let's have some objectivity here. I get it, extreme takes get clicks and reactions (congrats, I bit and I'm responding) but this is some major butthurt, low level trolling you got going on here
  18. I agree - the people saying have Mitch throw are 100% playing the hindsight game. No one wanted to see him throw when he came into the game there
  19. I thought Kincaid would’ve been the focal point today with Shakir being out. Instead, this staff decides Mack Hollins should be the main guy today?!?! Im still on the Kincaid train, but he needs to start showing more. Today was not a good day for him
  20. You know that Henry is actually pretty fast, right? Not saying Hamlin isn’t slower, but Henry has run away from plenty of DBs throughout his career
  21. As a teacher I can confirm this is true. 98% of my parent teacher conferences are with parents whose students are doing completely fine and/or excelling. There’s a reason why that student is doing so well that being said, who schedules parent teacher conferences on a sunday?!?!
  22. Between this and Josh losing a step between games 3 and 4, this team is ######!!!!!!!!
  23. Well considering a popular sentiment around here during the off-season and training camp was the Bills would start the season 1-3 and the Super Bowl window was firmly shut, this is a refreshing topic. Amazing what a couple of wins can do for fans outlooks!
  24. Henry has been clocked at over 20 mph on several occasions over his career. He’s not some Jerome Bettis can’t outrun anybody type of big back. He has run away from db’s before
  25. Well if you mention that he will also be out for apparently 2 weeks (even though he played the 2nd half) it makes it sound a lot more doom and gloomy, the sky is falling type stuff
