  1. Lloyd will be available after pick 15 and maybe even when the Bills pick, don’t need to trade all the way up to 7 for him. I’m not sure he’s even better than Nakobe Dean as far as off ball linebackers are concerned.
  2. Even if he does end up getting in any trouble, it’s not going to be much by the NFL. And if they open against the Rams to start the season, I bet he won’t be suspended at all.
  3. Number 3 tight end, one, maybe two IOL spots. Number 4 or 5 wide receiver, could always use more Dline, backup MLB, 1 or 2 CB’s, safety to replace Poyer next year, punter. Competition is a great thing to have on an NFL roster.
  4. C’mon now. Brett Favre sent a dick pic to someone who worked for the Jets while ha played for them. Marv Albert invited a woman to his room and got naked and bit her….nothing bad happened to their careers.
  5. I believe they would have taken Stokes had Green Bay not scooped him up the pick before.
  6. If they got linebacker as high as round 2 or 3, I really like Channing Tindell. Wasn’t able to start behind Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker at Georgia but he absolutely flies to the ball. And he played 4 phases on special teams which we know McD loves in his guys.
  7. His scouting report according to Lance Zierlein sounds eerily similar to a current Bills linebacker… ”Linebacker who is likely to test better than he plays at the next level. Smith possesses five-star traits and is extremely athletic, but those traits tend to go to waste on tape. There is a consistent lack of fundamentals that leave him out of position or blocked on too many plays. He lacks decisiveness and an aggressive demeanor that are fundamental in becoming an NFL linebacker.”
  8. I think Ed deserves more snaps. He’s the only proven consistent interior pass rusher they have.
  9. That article is just MJD’s opinion, not a consensus.
  10. Walker at 57 would be cool if he’s there. I personally don’t value RB’s enough to think they should warrant a first round pick.
  11. I know, I’m speaking to more of the NFL as a whole, and if Poyer does eventually hold out.
  12. How “elite” is Hall or any running back going to be behind our below average run blocking offensive line? Hard to be an elite running back when you’re running into your own offensive line cuz they can’t open up holes.
  13. This is starting to get irritating seeing NFL players do this if it is indeed contract related. You signed a contract, why should you be able to try and change the terms of the contract that YOU signed by holding out? If you think you’ll be worth more in a few years, negotiate a contract for less years. Anyone in the real world who signs a contract has to live up to it or they get fired. I get it’s different but the sense of entitlement these guys have is annoying.
  14. I’ll join the Walker over Hall fan club. Dude is an absolute unit out there.
  15. This whole culture thing is a bothersome argument. If he is the highest player on their board, they need to take him. He’s just a kid, and if they believe their culture is that strong, they should have no problem integrating an immature kid and having him be successful in Buffalo. I don’t care if the Bills players are choir boys or even nice guys, I want guys who help them win football games.
  16. Araiza kicked over 31% of his punts for touchbacks last year in college. Give me a guy like Stout or the Georgia punter who can drop it inside the 20 with superior hang time over a guy who just kicks it as hard as he can each time.
  17. While I agree I don’t think they would move Dawkins from LT to guard, I think people are using that line of thought since they couldn’t move Brown inside to guard. I mean I guess they could, I’ve never seen a 6-7 guard, but that would be a massive oline. Josh wouldn’t have much trouble throwing over them either since he is 6-5 at least.
  18. Win one for Reid! He had to deal with the garbage that was the Bills prior to McBeane.
  19. I honestly hope he goes there. Would love to see our Dline put him on his back the whole game.
  20. Yes, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t bring in competition in a mid round tackle who can play guard as well.
  21. When I heard “protecting Josh will be our number 1 priority this off season,” I don’t think he was referring to Ike Boettger at all. He will be lucky to make the final roster after they draft a guy or two and UDFA. Bates will start, but I’m not sold on him as a starting RG due to him only having a handful of starts in his career. And Spencer Brown was downright awful in pass protection last season, which relates to protecting Josh since the Bills are a passing team. Saffold is a one year stop gap at left guard. While I hope the new line works out, I don’t think it was addressed as much as I was anticipating.
  22. Beane also said the priority this off season was going to be protecting Josh. And all he did was sign Rodger Saffold, who is better as a run blocker.
  23. Think that had more to do with Josh having the worst statistical passing game of his career. And that taunting penalty Ryan got on a TD that got called back didn’t help his case. I laughed so hard when that happened and it was 4th down and they didn’t convert.
  24. Definitely with the zone scheme they play they don’t need an elite guy who can lock down the other teams number 1. I like Kyler Gordon a lot, think he is definitely more athletic than his 40 time at the combine (especially with his pro day jump numbers). I think he would be a perfect fit in the Bills zone scheme, would probably require a trade up in the 2nd round. Woolen has way too much bust potential for my liking despite his insane athleticism.
  25. I didn’t either, but we’re getting down to Haden, Rhodes, Fuller for vet CB’s. Anyone know much about Kevin King? He was once a high draft pick, is still young and had a really good year back in 2019.
