  1. Dax Hill has all the athletic traits to be a very good corner. With McD coaching him I believe he could be a top 10 CB in the league as an outside corner.
  2. Depth is for the later rounds. They need high end talent on the Oline and at CB. They need studs not more average players.
  3. Yes, the OL has been an issue for too long now. Want at least one IOL and one tackle selected in the draft. Give Josh more time to throw and protect the 260 million investment.
  4. Beane claims to not want to go into the draft with any major holes. Either him and McD are extremely confident in Dane and that Tre won’t miss much time, or we see a vet CB signing. I’m hoping for the latter.
  5. Looking at the depth chart the only real holes are WR4, backup IOL, number 3 TE, CB, and P. Could always use edge rushers and more DBs, but starters wise I agree with you. WR4 could end up being WR2 next year, and TE3 could be TE2 or even 1 if they can’t keep Knox, and backup IOL will replace Saffold so even though they aren’t starters, they’re going to be important pieces to have for the future. I doubt Tre is ready week 1 and I don’t want them to rush him back if they can get by with Dane + early draft pick on the outside.
  6. He really needs to nail this draft. They might only have 4 or 5 guys drafted who make the final 53 so they need to make them count. Quality over quantity should be his approach to the draft this year, as they really don’t have any major holes, assuming he adds at least 1 corner before the draft, which I am expecting.
  7. I like Dax Hill. Athletic enough to play outside corner full time, nickel, safety. Feel like McDermott would love him as a chess piece to move all over the defense.
  8. Ike was bad last year, then tore his Achilles, not sure about this signing.
  9. I was just wondering because I hear so many people say BPA and he would almost certainly be it if he made it to pick 25.
  10. IF by some miracle Penning is there at 25 do you draft him still?
  11. Still want a tackle who can play guard brought in no later than round 4 in the draft. I’m not completely sold on Bates or Brown and need competition and/or a solid backup.
  12. What if the top 5 corners are all gone? Along with the top 5 receivers? That would mean a very good player slipped to the Bills and I don’t think it will work out that way, but what if BPA at that point is a defensive end? Or safety? We will see how true Beane sticks to his board, still think he brings in a vet cb. At this point Bradberry wouldn’t surprise me with the way this off season has been going.
  13. Hall will end up going in the 2nd. Walker will go in the 2nd, Zamir probably 3rd, along with Spiller. I like James Cook a lot if he’s there in the 4th.
  14. As they should. If Edmunds was a better blitzer or made more splash plays I’d think about it, but he doesn’t do much of anything at a high level. He’s a good starter, but I think Oliver takes his play to a new level this season. Who knows, maybe Edmunds elevates his play in his contract year, that would be nice too.
  15. I’m saying if the plan is to keep the status quo on the right side of the line, they’re going to struggle. Williams is going to be 30 this season and has already looked to be in the decline physically. Brown should get the chance to start but they’re going to need to have competition or at least a competent backup if he struggles again. He got worked in pass pro so many times last year, he’s a good run blocker, but leaves a lot to be desired from a pass pro standpoint.
  16. Williams sucks, Brown wasn’t very good last year. Those two next to each other just wasn’t good. If you think the OL is in a good place right now then I don’t know what to tell you.
  17. No experience holding, also why draft a punter in round 4, when you can get a good one in round 6 or 7? Penn State or Georgia punters are good too.
  18. Ummm Josh was the most pressured QB in the NFL last season, so they weren’t even decent in pass protection. What about the oline seems fine to you?
  19. Yes. Going into a full blown prevent with 13 seconds was dumb.
  20. Could take Dax Hill and move him to full time corner. He’s crazy athletic and I’ve seen some scouts suggest him being tried as a full time outside corner due to his athleticism and length.
  21. I was pissed the Bills didn’t trade up for Trevon…and instead got stuck with Epenesa.
  22. Yeah, there are running backs that will be there in the 3rd or 4th that would put fear in defenses as well, Zamir White, James Cook, Pierce Strong.
  23. It’s not happening. Bills are super bowl favorites, they’re not going to trade one if the most important players on their offense.
