  1. I don’t know, great athlete but why didn’t he dominate the FCS like someone with his size and speed should have?
  2. As much hate as Edmunds gets if he was traded that would leave a big hole in the middle of the defense that they would just have to address using a draft pick on a roster that is set up for a super bowl run.
  3. How is Walker supposed to make an impact when the Bills were brutal at run blocking last year? And pass blocking. Josh was the most pressured QB in the league last year, including games where Bates started. Need to protect the 260 million dollar man.
  4. Might move us back a few spots honestly due to the team having to take on their salary.
  5. I’d take Gilmore back in a heartbeat. Can you blame him for how he allegedly acted on garbage teams? Id be pissed too if I was him.
  6. Wisconsin plays in the big ten all they do is run the ball, it’s nothing compared to SEC football. No one cares if you run for 200 yards vs. Illinois. And this is the NFL, you think he’d be able to run over NFL defenses like he did at Wisconsin with the Bills run blocking? Absolutely not.
  7. A top shelf RB doesn’t get us any closer considering the Oline is horrible at run blocking. Tyler Smith was my vote. Zamir White in round 3, James Cook or Pierce Strong in round 4 would have a lot of success running behind an improved oline.
  8. Even if the Bills drafted JT he wouldn’t have nearly the same success here as he has in Indy because they have a really good oline and the Bills don’t.
  9. I can’t wait for them to not draft Breece Hall so we can stop talking about using a high draft pick on a running back who would just be running into his own offensive line cuz they can’t run block.
  10. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Josh Allen is to Dolphins fans what Brady was to Bills fans for so many years, the guy who just always plays amazing against you. Josh is 7-1 vs the dolphins with the only loss coming his rookie year cuz Charles Clay couldn’t catch a football. I’ve started to worry more about Jets games than Dolphins games.
  11. I personally really like Bernhard Raimann, describes a lot of what you’re looking for.
  12. The point I’m trying to make is Beane is aiming at prolonged success. He’s not willing to mortgage the future to win now (at this point at least). Even without trading draft picks though, he’s made a lot of good moves. Would I be mad if he did and the Bills won it all? Not at all.
  13. I thought this was going to be a Gabe Davis thread and was mildly disappointed when it wasn’t.
  14. How did that trade work out for Seattle? You also said 25+57 would get the Bills all the way up to 4, which even from the chart you shared wasn’t factual, and even less so in real life.
  15. In what world do you live in where 25+57 would get you to 4? No team would ever do that, I don’t care what the dumb chart says.
  16. Well those 6ths and 7th are useless for trading up, unless it’s into the 5th. Do we really want to sacrifice our 2nd to move up 5-8 spots? I don’t know, that’s Beane’s job I guess. And for the record, I’m not even in the 1st round CB or bust group. I want the best player available, I don’t care if he’s a OT, DE, DT, or LB. Just go get a guy who can play. I’d be fine with a corner in rounds 2-4.
  17. Bills already have a center. Tretter hasn’t played OT since his early years in the NFL. I’d give sign him as competition for Bates/Brown if he came cheap.
  18. Although this draft at a surface level lacks a ton of high end elite talent, it is very deep due to the extra Covid year players got. Bills could get multiple starters if they play their cards right out of this draft. The OL class in particular is one I’ve been looking into extensively and it is very deep with players who project as solid starters at minimum.
  19. I want Burks but I have a feeling the Bills don’t.
  20. So Beane is clearly planning to sign a vet CB before the draft…awesome to hear.
  21. Every year a player drops for a number of reasons, whether it’s a run on QB’s, or a run on WR/CB/Edge, something comes up off the field the week of the draft. If they draft BPA I could see an Edge rusher or DT being there, maybe even one of the top OT. We will see how Beane follows his board. But if they draft Gordon or McCreary in round 1 that would surely be a reach.
  22. Dohtson wouldn’t be a huge contributor from day 1, he’d be the 4th wide receiver. Not the way a corner would contribute day 1, or even a stud OT/OG or a stud DT like Wyatt or Davis if they drop to the Bills. If you say the Bills are primed for a Super Bowl run shouldn’t they aim for an immediate contributor?
