Somebody said they were running him on early downs and then switching him out for Williams on 3rds. Cannot confirm the rotation, but I have to wonder if they were giving him snaps because Williams is not really 100% healthy.

I think they just took him off the field because he simply cannot play in this league. Maybe they were running him on early downs to protect William's injury and they just had to give up on it.

He's on an island and is responsible for an entire third of the field all the way to the back of the endzone. It's also 3rd/5 and his primary responsibility is to attack the sticks first and then recover the best he can if they go over top of him. His recover was very good as was his coverage, Maye just dropped a ball on time in the only tiny window that was even remotely open. You cannot look for the ball on a dead sprint away from it; all you do if you turn is create separation and make an easier catch for the WR.

They recognized that the entire team desperately needed a spark and knew they were the unit that needed to do it. They come out on the opening drive of the 3rd qrtr and right from the get-go started punching people in the mouth and hitting everything they could get to right up to the whistle. It was great veteran recognition and leadership. This was my last comment at halftime and they did exactly what needed done

The entire OLine. They came out of halftime and set a new tone for the whole second half and won the game up front.

I thought he did a really good job most of the game delivering the ball under pressure. They blitzed more than I thought they would but there's a limit to how many times it's smart when your missing Rasul Douglas, Taron Johnson, Matt Milano and both starting safeties.
