1,000,000 MC to the first person who gives the correct answer

For the most part it comes from people who are not capable of keeping their adopted politics from dictating every other facet of their lives. It's why we have a zero politics rule here, to prevent the weak from splattering their pablum all over the board.

Upon further review ... Spencer Brown is a BALLER
Simon replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem is that he's not a starting-caliber Guard at this point; he's been gawdawful all year no matter where they stick him. And the only reason a guy goes that quickly from being as great as he was last year to as bad he's been this year is because he's not focused and putting in the work; and that is not part of the Process. It's also not the first time he's been great in a contract year and turned into a blob of old mayonnaise the year after he got paid. I think he puled the same thing in Carolina. If he was in a contract year next season I could see the Bills holding on to him in the hopes he decides to show up and play for one more contract. But I think he's got two years left and I doubt if the Bills are going to risk paying him to take up an important roster spot next year when their #1 priority has to be putting a really good OLine in front of their franchise QB. -

How'd you like to see that coming down the lane at ya? -

No gripes with any of that; love to watch him play all over the field. Just a little worried about his feet in passpro; he's had some occasional, but recurring tics that Josh's presence and athleticism have covered up. With DWilliams deservedly on his way out the door and the Bill about to have no OT depth, if I'm Beane I'm sorely tempted to use that first pick on a good young OT and kick Spencer inside to solve a couple problems with a single asset. -

He's fun to watch but I'm still not convinced Spencer is the long-term answer at OT. He gives up too many pressures at this point, but if he keeps working it, he's likely to get better. -

I was referring to the folks who want to cut him this offseason to save some money on the salary cap. -

He's been the best Offensive Lineman on this team all year long and it's not even close. People who want to dump him and create another hole just to save a couple dollars are out of their minds, imo. -

Yeah, he's reaching the point where his patience and vision are making him virtually indefensible with any traditional defenses. I wonder who's going to come up with something that can give him consistent trouble (Spagnulo is probably the best candidate right now ). If they protect him and he continues to stay patient he's going to dominate this league for as long as he wants to. To keep it on topic, may favorite thing about watching him run is seeing all the bad angles guys take on him. Especially when it's guys seeing him in front of them for the first time. Nobody EVER takes the right angle on him.

I thought the exact same thing. He threw it right where he wanted to throw it and then made sure that Knox got the accolades he deserved.

There's no way that call gets made without the approval of the head coach; they both deserve whatever happens to them. It probably would have been faster to just throw a 10-15 yrd dig if you want to use the middle of the field against that sideline D. That guy is a unique mix of stupidity and cowardice. Although I guess it's not unheard of for those particular traits to go hand in hand.....

It was around the middle of the 3rd qrtr I think. There's a replay of it somewhere upthread.
