For as many snaps as he gets, 20 tackles and falling into some coverage sacks isn't exactly eye-popping. He takes a lot of plays off in the reg season but seems to pick things up when the chips are down in the postseason. I think it was probably legit in this case. Didn't really hit his head or snap his neck, but did fall on the shoulder awkwardly while he was fully extended.

Anybody know what's up with his shoulder? He's a bit of a dog in the regular season but he's got a playoff motor that might get us a couple key plays a game going forward. Good guy to have around if he's healthy.

128.5 is my magic number for red meats. If you can start it the day before and let it go overnight at that temp, it will make it significantly more tender.

What on Earth have you seen this season to make you think that this OLine can protect longer developing plays with any reliability whatsoever? -
Impressive. One rarely sees that many lies packed into a single post.

No surprises on Oliver at DE; they've been sneaking him snaps there since at least back in October. Any comments on Boogie Basham? I only had one eye on most of the game but I got the sense he may have played his best football as a pro.

If Cam Heyward turfs Mahomes early, all bets are off.

Hands are always the toughest for me to keep warm. The last few years I've been using Ice Armor glove/mitts; they're designed for ice fishing so it's a glove with regular fingers and then a mitten shell on the outside. If I wear them outside in anything warmer than about 15-20F my hands will actually sweat until I have to take them off for a few minutes to cool off. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/icearmor-by-clam-renegade-mitts

It works if the outer thermal is not too tight. The thin layer of air between them is what's actually beneficial so if you wear really tight clothes it negates that layer of air and slightly limits circulation. Keep that second thermal loose and you will be warmer.

Calling it now: Devin will be a 1000 yard back this year
Simon replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't think of that joke until I had already posted. -
I'll second this. No fuss, no muss and it tastes just as good. Just make sure you don't warm it too much or too long or the beef will start to cook and get tougher.

Was he pushed? -
Do. Not. This could be an interesting conversation and if you foul it up by bringing this garbage into it again, I am going to punt you out an airlock. Edit: And now that I've breached the fourth wall, know that message was also intended for anybody else who cant help themselves.

New York Considering Legalizing "Magic Mushrooms"

I agree with most of this but don't write off Oxy. If used properly, it can be very beneficial. I have a rolling scrip that I fill a few times a year and it's likely been a literal lifesaver for me. -
Lee Smith and Dawson Knox mic’d up for Bills vs Falcons

Damn, I didn't realize he was even on the field Sunday or I'd have been eyeballing him. He's fun to watch. -

I don't care about a bunch of numbers; that was one of the finest displays of genuine leadership you'll ever see from a Bills QB. Whether he was laying himself open to pick up first downs, being the first guy down the field to pick Motor up after a strong run, talking his OLine up and getting multiple guys chugging 15-20 yards downfield hunting targets, or keeping his head high and continuing to attack the next play no matter what had happened on the last. Even when things were going sideways, he still had every guy on the field playing their ass off on every down; and he does it with his ass and not his mouth, which is the only way to sustain it. When you can get chill muther*****ers like Ed Oliver and Daryl Williams wanting to run through walls for you, You Are The Man.

He's not bad when he's just putting his superior talent into position to make plays instead of trying to outsmart everybody. The problem is that he just can't help himself and McDermott has to put a harness on him and plant his feet every few weeks. I want coach concentrating on doing his job, not worrying about having to figure out how to rein in a key assistant at any given moment. I'm just not convinced the current model is set up for sustainable long term success.
