Wow, good homework. I hadn't thought of it from that perspective. I think the Bills are doing it the right way by finding guys to play the position that have already shown some chops instead of using draft picks. This just reinforces that opinion. 👍

Neither is that

Is that when Skynet became self-aware?

Forrest has only had one actual injury in his last 8 years of football, that was the cracked shoulder two years ago.
-
You know who actually got really good at it toward the end of the year? Cole Bishop
-
They didn't even use any late round picks for depth at the position. And it's worth noting that neither of those starters were drafted either. The Bills seem to have a philosophy of using draft picks on cost-controlled impact position and Safety doesn't qualify, imo.

In the 8 years of the McBeane era, the Bills have used a draft pick on exactly one safety. In 8 years. Anybody that thinks they are going to use another high pick on a safety for the second year in a row isn't paying attention.

This is one of the most out of touch statements you will ever witness in this forum.

I wasn't joking at all. This kid has a legit shot to be a quality starter as much if not more than Cine did. I think McBeane just goosed Cole Bishop for real.
-
Indeed, I had some real hopes for that pick-up. I kind of get the same vibe from this signing. Hopefully he won't leave mid-season to go somewhere else to win a SB.

It was me and I'm not sorry.

In that case, everybody has an injury history. The guy played 50 games in college and his only real injury was the cracked shoulder two years ago. Tweaking a hammy in camp then coming back to play 12 straight games isn't really enough to label him with an "injury history".
-
Wait, are you giving up already? Give that young man some time!

Looks like Lewis Cine is back.

They're deciding whether to call the cops.

RB Ty Johnson Re-Signed - 2 Year Deal

Doh! I was just looking for palm trees shaped like a "W". I didn't even know it was a movie -
It's certainly not his strength. He is at least willing, if a bit undersized. If somebody can coach up his wrap and roll technique he would be just fine. This was the first thing that popped into my head also.
-
Any quicks he may have once had are just gone. I'm doubtful he can play any of the corner positions in this league any more.

His game took a fairly impressive leap forward this year. He's a weak spot as a starter but I'm very happy the Bills kept him around as quality depth.

He's one of my favorite players of all time in any uniform. Watching him run stride for stride 30 yrds downfield at 280 with the likes of Shannon Sharpe while his head was turned and tracking the ball was surreal.
-
Kirkland played around 280 and Ogunjobi is a sandwich over 300, so only about 20 lbs difference. Levon was one of the great freakshows in NFL history, imo.
-
Yeah, that was the one thing that sort of wrinkled an eyebrow here. I'm guessing he was scheduled to make less money than that when he was released for cap reasons.
-
Wearing that #99, he looks exactly what Levon Kirkland would have looked like if they'd dropped him down to DT.
