  1. Pretty cool I guess. I don’t know anything about the methodology behind this metric though, could be another ESPN ploy to sound smart a la QBR.
  2. generally agree but I’d argue Kupp is a star, or at least he should be. Donald is perhaps the greatest DT to ever play. Granted, those guys aren’t QBs so they only move the needle so much.
  3. They absolutely need to expand rosters if they are going to continue adding games. Granted those spots will be mostly taken up by replacement-level fringe talent and probably not go very far in improving the quality of football week over week, but it will at least help with the fatigue issue the OP is talking about.
  4. This is such a badly contrived poll/question I’m not even sure if there’s a good answer to it.
  5. pretty much.
  6. Jesus.
  7. well that’s the most obvious dog whistle i’ve ever read here. Agree the mix and delay was bad. Loved the show though.
  8. Cry more.
  9. Running over them all night? Not really
  10. Dude, it was being reported EVERYWHERE. If no one was on to their efforts to land Watson then yes, I’d agree with you.
  11. it wasn’t exactly a secret that Ross was trying to work a deal for Watson. Why is being honest and admitting it to Tua so bad? Should he have lied to the kid and told him the entirety of NFL media were all FOS?
  12. hold up - the starting QB for one of the Super Bowl teams is getting media attention?!?! Unbelievable.
  13. if the hypothetical up and comer has demonstrable talent and is adequately qualified for the position, then there is absolutely no problem with that candidate also having familial connections to the job. Question is how often is that the case? I don’t know the percentage, but it ain’t 100%. And that’s why nepotism and cronyism is a problem.
  14. Odd until you remember the level of cronyism and nepotism present in the NFL…
  15. Well yes, that’s exactly why. That and the current one is starting to fall apart.
  16. This “source” is just a Sabres fan in Philly who was making a joke in light of the Oilers firing yet another coach and subsequent speculation that McDavid is going to ask for a trade. That’s it.
  17. Should probably wait for an actual, credible source to wait to report this rather than a literal who? on twitter. But hey, you got to waste peoples’ time. Good for you OP.
  18. Still incredibly cheap compared to other NFL teams. Wait till the new stadium is built.
  19. Good signing he’s a good depth player. Now go lock in Bates.
  20. lol that’s the 2nd time replying to me where you present “well, if you don’t agree with my idiocy, i don’t know what to say.” Yes. We know you don’t know what to say because you don’t have much to say. “Numbers are easily manipulated” and how were those numbers “manipulated” to give the Bills their ranking, compared to how those numbers are usually calculated YoY in the NFL?
  21. oh my goodness. If you think it would only take a 1st, 2nd and an unproven player to move up 20-odd spots, I question whether you’ve ever watched the NFL Draft.
  22. very cute. Did you get that quip from a pickup truck bumper sticker or somewhere else? Imagine being so intellectually insecure you have to insult numbers. 😬
  23. Add whatever weight you want to it. It doesn’t invalidate the defense’s rank and it doesn’t make other posters “delusional” for pointing it out. Statistics aren’t invalidated just because the season ended on a sour note. Not how math works.
  24. Funny how you think your one-game sample outweighs a season-long statistical performance and you call other people delusional.
